Over the past several years, I’ve noticed subtle changes occurring in the appearance of my skin’s elasticity, complexion, and fine lines. I managed to go through my 30’s and early 40’s looking much younger than my age, though diet, exercise, and good genetics. There are a lot of products out there claiming they will drastically improve the skin’s appearance but how do you truly know without trying each one, of which most are very expensive? Fortunately, I read many of the reviews for this serum and they were positive, and the price tag was very affordable, so I felt hopeful and ordered the product.The serum feels nice on my skin, not oily like many other serums and moisturizers I’ve tried. There is no unpleasant odor. Unlike many expensive creams on the market that feel like they are just coating my skin and clogging my pores, I can tell my skin is actually absorbing the rich nutrients.I have been using the serum at nighttime only for about a week and my skin feels softer already and my complexion looks brighter. I have a glow to my skin in the morning that was not present before I started using Tree of Life serum. I know I am still early on, but I am encouraged by what I’ve seen in such a short time. As the days have passed, I’ve started noticing my skin even feels more smooth and slightly more firm, which is causing some fine lines around my eye area to diminish. I expect this to improve over time if I am already noticing these positive changes in such a short time. I already know from research that our bodies, including the skin, replenish healthy cells while we rest more rapidly than during the day. Like I stated earlier, I was using a variety of serums and they were probably healthy for my skin, but they didn’t have all of the ingredients in one bottle like Tree of Life Ultimate Age Defying Serum does. I have found my nighttime go-to facial serum now and I’m excited to continue seeing improvements and ultimately enjoying healthy looking skin for years to come.

I don’t write a lot of reviews, but this product absolutely deserves one. In short, IT WORKS!I am in my mid-40s and have combination, sensitive skin. I still get periodic mild acne breakouts and have a few wrinkles, and wanted something that would help address both. I decided to give this a try, and boy, I’m glad I did. After two weeks of use, I can honestly say my skin looks and feels better than it has since I was 20. After two days I could see and feel improvement in the surface texture of my face and neck, and within a week I saw a very noticeable improvement in pore size, overall smoothness, and I had ZERO signs of blemishes. My skin tone is much more even. I could go out without makeup if I wanted to, and I haven’t been able to say that for a long time.I mix a couple of drops of this serum with my regular nighttime moisturizer (a well-known one in a red jar), and it goes on smooth and comfortable. There was a tiny bit of stinging for the first few days, which means the retinol is working. Scent is very subjective, but to me the scent is pleasant - it’s a green, botanical, aromatic scent that fades over time, but I like it. YMMV. I also use it on my neck and chest, as well as on the backs of my hands. My skin is younger looking and smoother than it has been in years.I wish I had taken a before and after photo, but it didn’t occur to me. I’ll just say if you’re considering adding a product to your skin care routine, this is a worthy purchase. I’m glad I found it, and I’ll be reordering for as long as they make it!

The company requested a review the first time I purchased this, but since I had just received it I chose not to provide a review at that time. I really don't think it helps anyone to have to sort through 5-star reviews bubbling with comments like "I can't wait to try this!" or "I love the packaging!". I've now used the Nighttime Serum for about four months, and just purchased my second bottle. I must say my initial reaction when opening the bottle was not a good one - the scent is strong and unpleasant. I don't mean unpleasant as in something I don't personally care for, I mean off-putting and seemingly toxic. I did go back to peruse reviews to see if others had mentioned the scent before I used it. Others mentioned it and convinced me I didn't have a bad batch. I've had other natural products that smell pretty badly, and I do understand that some ingredients simply smell bad. I take MSM every day and it smells and tastes like poison; MSM is a key ingredient in this product. I also use vitamin C serum and hyaluronic acid straight up, and none of these smell particularly good on their own. The bad smell in this product is likely an unwanted byproduct of combining such powerful ingredients into one formula. But I'd prefer the natural scent over synthetic perfumes every time. In a gummy-vitamin world, people have been convinced that everything should be sugared up and fragranced in order to be acceptable; we need to remember what matters is whether it does the job. And this product does. It's very strong, in fact, I really can't use it that often. When I first started using it, I used it three consecutive days and my cheeks broke out in a red rash. Now I avoid my cheeks altogether and use it directly under my eyes and around my mouth and jawline. Oddly enough, it doesn't irritate the fragile skin beneath my eyes. From my own research, retinol is one of the most potent remedies for undereye aging. The affects are noticeable, even by the following morning. Small lines are visibly diminished, and the overall affect is noticeably tighter and firmer. Of course nothing is going to erase wrinkles outside of plastic surgery, but for noninvasive means, this does a satisfactory job. A good 2 - 3 night a week regimen is ideal, and the formula is a great combination of the best anti-aging ingredients available. The bonus is the price. Just go easy with it, and you will see results.
