They did the job and was easy to cut

Used them on the recessed door handles (FarBoat Recessed Pulls Latch Cabinet Knobs Round Handles Flush Embeded Hidden Concealed Brushed Hardware Heavy Duty for Fireproof Door Closet Cupboard with Screws(Silver, 74mm/2.9inch OD) and they worked great! used a hack saw instead of pliers to cut but had no problem screwing it in again as ends are tappered.

Recently got new French doors installed that didn't have pre-drilled holes for door knobs. I used these to attach dummy door handles to both sides. They were easy to cut down to the right length and install.
