Worx GT Revolution 20V 12" String Trimmer Grass Trimmer/Edger/Mini-Mower, WG170.2

By far, this is the best trimmer I have ever used. Lightweight, yet very powerful. Also, this trimmer conserves the feed line string. In other words, I can trim my entire 7,000 sq ft property and the trimmer has barely used any string. I love the automatic string feed feature. The quality for this price is incredible.If you look online, this trimmer is ranked in the top 5 for price, quality, features and ease of use. This Worx trimmer is built like a tank and will certainly last like one. I highly, highly recommend this trimmer.Oh, and did I mention, I am a 68 year old woman and do all the yard work myself.

A year ago, I never thought I’d be excited to see an Amazon truck pull in to deliver a weed trimmer. But I was. My gardens had become a mess and I had a lot of work to do. I’m a small woman and needed a work tool I could handle. Worx seemed to fit the bill. My order came within days. The Worx was easy to put together,10 minutes tops. I also ordered a spare battery with more run time. Taking the Worx outside for a trial run, I weed whacked, mowed, and edged 3 of my 6 gardens. I especially appreciated the adjustable handle for obtaining the length I was most comfortable with, and the tool itself was light and easy to handle. The bigger spare battery I ordered did add a little more weight which did not affect my ability to comfortably do what I needed to do. I was amazed at how well the Worx handled all the tasks I put it through the first day. I even cleared out a patch of out of control tall grass growing on an incline. This is a purchase I’m very glad I made, well worth every penny!!

This trimmer does a decent job. I was led to believe that the trimmer was compatible with my Dewalt 20 volt batteries, one of the reasons for buying it. There not compatible for those who want to know. I was given the options of returning it or a credit of $22. Needed the trimmer right away, so I just took the credit. With only one battery I get around 15 minutes run time. I'm 70 years old and retired so I've got the time for both the battery and myself to recharge. It's not going to be as powerful as a gas trimmer but I don't have to deal with gas and getting the thing started. So if you have time for the battery to recharge it will do the job adequately, patience is a virtue with this, or just buy another battery to back up . This is a 2amp battery and you can get a 4amp battery for $100 or just get another trimmer for the same price.This is an add on. I was able to find 2 20v 6Ah batteries on Amazon for $64 . These batteries are compatible with the trimmer and fit well and allows more run time and more power than the 2Ah that came with the trimmer..

I needed a lightweight trimmer that I could use easily to do spot work around trees, faucets and other trim work. This was it! It easy folds for storage into a small space, runs a long time on one charged battery, and works like a champ. The string spool looks so small but it lasts a long time, several uses around garden beds, string light poles, flower beds, faucets, etc. I also found out it is adjustable so that I can use it as a lawn mower in tight areas that I can't get the push mower in, cuts as evenly as the mower. it is super easy to change the battery and the string spool. The string spools aren't expensive either. There is nothing I don't like about it. I still use the heavy gas string trimmer for around fences trees, and equipment shed in the pastures on my farm but this one is my every day trimmer now.

This is much lighter to use than gas powered, easy to use and change string.I should have gotten 2 battery packs though. It doesn't take long to charge the battery but I have many bushes and flower beds to trim around as well as my house and fence line.Over all I am happy with this product. It runs great, not as loud as gas powered trimmer, lighter to carry, adjustable height,easy to switch to edger.The only thing is the battery life. So if you have to do a lot of trimming and edging, 2 batteries would be suggested.I would buy it again for sure.

I love that this is lightweight and battery operated. It's powerful enough for my needs and the battery lasts long enough for the size of my yard. It's well made and easy to operate. It works well in all 3 functions. We've done some much neglected edging along a patio and the sidewalk, used the mowing function for a corner of the yard that is pretty narrow and hard to get with our worx mower, and used it to trim weeds along our fence line and around trees. We've not had to line feed, yet. There is a holder attached to the handle for an additional spool of line that I can see being handy. It's very easy to adjust the tilt, handle length, and handle angle. My son and myself can easily adjust it for ourselves. Very happy with the purchase.

LOVE IT!!! I was looking for a light weight, highly rated, inexpensive trimmer. I broke my ankle and am still in a boot. My front yard is on a steep hill and I bought this to wack the grass in an area that is about 4 push mower wide and 50 feet long, that puts too much stress on my ankle. I first used this in my court yard to wack the weeds between the pavers. PERFECT. I trimmed some areas around the garden areas, PERFECT. I have two other trimmers that are a pain in reloading etc. This is PERFECT for my needs without broken string etc that I deal with, with the others. The battery is still running strong after 30 minutes, it doesn't wake up the neighbourhood, the string feed works great, and I like that I don't have to gas up or trip over a cord. Easy assembly and compact storage. I LOVE IT!!!!!!!

This trimmer is excellent. I bought it to replace my previous Worx after many years of service. I like this one because is is easy to operate and lightweight. The battery holds the charge well and being cordless is fantastic. The unit feeds the line with ease. It is compact enough to handle, but big enough to get the job done.
