Perfect match for my 2012 (used) Prius
Color match is PERFECT. The moldings look like they were installed at the factory. The two sets come with instructions, cleaning swabs and adhesion promoter (primer). You will want to take your time and be careful when putting them on. Once the surface is prepared if you touch the sticky side of the molding to the primer it is stuck and cannot be re-positioned. The instructions spell out pretty clearly that you should measure everything and apply tape (I used blue painters tape) to mark everything before applying the primer and molding. A tip - place a piece of tape at the end where the bullet end is so that you can determine how far to place the primer. I didn't get it all the way to the end and I'm concerned that the bullet end might not stick as well over the long run.18 months and they are still providing excellent performance

Do NOT buy. Incomplete product. Same for the seller
The body side moldings looked really nice. The chemicals need for install were not included. The seller is not responsive to concerns, IMO. Never again from Burton MI

Good customer service
I received the item just fine but I changed my mind so I returned it. The return email stated there was a 15% restocking fee but they refunded all except for about $4 return shipping. Thanks!

Toyota Prius Body Side Moldings and Installation Tips
Rabid Prius owners out there... this is the best price you are going to get for aftermarket side moldings! But a few things you should contemplate before ordering!Pros-Great price to look OEMMostly high quality strips with minimal blemishes in the paintLook good on this carCons-You probably have to install these yourselfTricky to do it rightProbond adhesive promoter included not enoughdirt/dust/junk might get down between door and moldingYou still might get your doors dingedI just installed these yesterday, and was dreading the job. It is not a "normal" job for a detail person to hire to do, so I figured I would take more care and get a better result doing it myself. I also didn't want to wait too long, get a ding in my door and exclaim, "*$%@! if I only had finished the job!" I watched a few YouTube videos of different people doing this kind of install, then took the best ideas I saw and started. BTW- they make it look easy... it really isn't.You start by washing your doors and drying... then get the car in a cool place where you can see really well- cause you are going to be there for awhile and how these "look" is everything. Then you measure. I used a regular metal tape measure like those in the video- WRONG! Us a cloth tape measure because the Prius doors are anything but straight- they bulge! Also, it is VERY hard to make marks by yourself. I used a white crayon from my son and made the mark in the front 13 1/4" from the front of the door, then 13 3/4" from the back. The idea is that you run that blue painters masking tape from the first mark to the back- NOT EASY! The tape doesn't like to stay "even" from back to front. I found this problem because I read not to put the adhesive promotor outside of 1 1/4" below the marking tape, so I cleverly thought to run a second line of tape under the first that distance down. When I measured along the area between (where the molding would go) it was inconsistent! So that is when I called my wife in on it- and she had a great idea! As I said before, this job is really partly a two person operation. So on the other side the taping went much more accurately. We used that side as the model. We used the cloth tape measure to measure down from the pin stripe above to the top of the tape. One measure in back, one in front, and a center measurement at the door crease. Then we did the measurements on the other side. Of course you want both sides to look the same, so this was very helpful. It is suggested that you run over the area to be adhered to with rubbing alcohol (they provide 2 pads- adequate, but a bottle is better with a lint-free cloth) I decided not to worry about the promotor going outside the area because I discovered that it comes off easily with rubbing alcohol. I fitted the pieces where they would go, then I marked with more tape where each molding ran to its EDGE (front side for the front door, back side for the back door.) This is helpful because you won't know when to stop using the promotor if you don't. Big tip here- order a pack of probond adhesive promoters on eBay- (they go for about $2 apiece)- you will need 2 or 3. You want this to stick and not come off, so don't skimp like Spoiler and Wing King did! Then, when it is dried to a haze, place the strips where they will go and use blue tape from above the measure line to get it where you want each one. You must peel the "bullet" ends off separately (a pain!) and they peel back both sides of the red backing 4 inches or so. Get it right where you want it- consistent on both sides of the car... and press each side down. Then pull the red backing down and toward the middle of the strip as you lightly push down. When you get it all stuck on, use a microfiber cloth and run it along the strip with pressure, sealing it down well. Do that x4 and you will have a straight and awesome look.As I said in the Cons- these side moldings will not stop all car doors from dinging your beautiful doors- in fact, someone dinged our RR door a week after we got our car brand new (of course) and we had it repaired... you can barely see a mark in the paint in certain light and it is a full 2 inches above the side molding (it was a full size pickup truck door...) But it looks good where it is, and will stop many smaller, closer to the ground cars. I am reminded of my sister's Nissan Altima that has side moldings that are ridiculously low and wouldn't help at all- these are better.Good luck and hopefully you can navigate the install with my tips- !!

A great alternative to the high cost of dealer installed moldings.
The price of the molding is right, probably one-fourth of what a Toyota dealer charges. The installation instructions are clear. the installation took about 20 minutes. The color is a perfect match to the body color. This is my second Prius and the second time I've purchased side moldings from Spoiler & Wing King. When I get my next car, I'll get the moldings from them again.

Color was not a good match. Called Spoiler And Wing King
Color was not a good match. Called Spoiler And Wing King. I told them I didn't realize the match was so bad untill I took the car out in daylight. They said I could take them off return they would repaint them handreturn. I told them I wasn't going to do that. How would they be able to match them on the next try? The backing rubber which is visible when you are at the car was not totally painted. I did get a set of these for another car and they were almost perfect. They said I'd have to take it up with Amazon.

JUST LIKE OEM. NICE PAINTED FINISH
The media could not be loaded. 2012 Prius, much needed for protection against dings. Great fit and finish.
