Fit front door on 2006 Pathfinder
I had a weird squeaking noise in the front that I couldn't figure out. I thought it was the blower fan with a bad bearing but it did it with the fan off. I thought the door panel was rubbing the foam insulation panel but that wasn't it either. Turns out the stock speakers had torn loose from the foam surround. Every little vibration in the speaker (even radio off) would amplify the rubbing sound. These were a good fit and have great sound (with a Pioneer head unit). Had to re-use the factory screws and open the plastic in the speaker trim around them so I could use a nut driver (I used a dremel with a small sanding drum). You have to be careful with speaker depth- some can interfere with the window rolling down. Haven't had that problem with these (keep the plastic riser/housing on the door and just swap the speaker). Had to cut the factory connector and add my own for the speakers.

Nice speakers. Does not include wire connections
Good value for money. Decent bass and little distortion. Only downside is it does not include speaker wires/connectors.

Good stock replacement.
Very pleased. These replaced some very worn-out factory 6X9's in my 2003 Honda Accord using it's stock stereo. They are better than expected with good bass and smooth treble performance.

Excellent build and sound quality.
Very pleased with build and sound quality of these speakers. I am especially surprised by the clean and clear bass response. They're probably not for rattling body panels but if you just want your bass to have that little bit more "umpf" without distortion I definitely recommend these.

Cheap quality for a brand name
Paper cones, tiny magnets, and distortion at high volumes. These were actually WORSE than my 2015 Ram 1500 stock speakers. I’m an audiophile and these just don’t have the quality sound I was expecting from Alpine. Spend the extra money for a higher-end series.

compact size
These speakers are mediocre, but they have relatively small magnets and the tweeters don't protrude past the mounting face, both of which were important to fitting in a C3 Corvette.
