I work with loud industrial equipment. It's a pretty strenuous job and often gets hot and humid. You know what makes these situations conducive to working? An industrial fan and this speaker!! This little guy is LOUD. The neodymium drivers really speak through the radiator (low frequency response is beautiful). I honestly love the way it projects in such a rich and responsive way. And in this little package! It has some nice weight in my hands, something I find to be really sweet - indicative of decent little drivers. It's got a nice rubber bracket around the whole thing, which protects the corners well. The lights are amazing for my tastes. I'm not around any pools or anything this summer, so I can't say anything about the water aspect. But I would trust it to get harmlessly splashed on in certain situations. Kind of like a "waterproof" wristwatch. I find it to be very user friendly, as well. Pairs right up with my budget smartphone. Two important things: when it's charging, it's the plus sign that turns red. It comes with a mini charging cable that plugs into anything USB. It is a rather short cable, but it's needed because it doesn't take a C-Type plug. It's a USB-B Micro. Anyway, it projects enough sound for me to hear it over the machines. Keeps me going through the night as I work! I love it. Good price, too, for what it is - a miniature sound system that I'm very impressed with. I also have another AL speaker that's around the same size and price (the Hydrawave) that sounds excellent, as well. These little speakers are well-built.

I bough this as a gift. He took it camping where it got filthy. After cleaning the rubber case, it still worked really well. It's been dropped a bunch too. This is an amazing speaker for it being small and on the cheaper side.

This is the third altec Lansing speaker I have had. This is by far the best one. The second one was slimmer and had some nice features but fell over during playing a lot. I did a survey and you guys came through. You made it wider more sturdy and this one sounds awesome. Very happy with it it is a little large for me carrying around but I will make it happen very happy.

These have proven to be solid in sound and affordable. Glad it synced with my other 3 Altecs. Party mode sort of like quadrophonic, but not. Once they break in they sound great.

We love this brand of speakers. Very easy to connect. These are lightweight and perfect size. We take these to the beach & the sound quality is awesome. Battery lasts a really long time between charges. Love the color change option too!

Good sound and plenty loud

The media could not be loaded. I caught this speaker on a deal a few years ago and I must say it would have been worth its regular price. I’ve taken it on multiple trips and used it while playing golf. Excellent quality speaker that’s waterproof and battery last at 6+ hours even with me charging a phone off of it. It’s connects to your phone right away after the initial setup, every time. I’d definitely buy this brand again in the future.

I wrote a more detailed review of the partner device the Lifejacket XL. In short, the device will not connect to other devices. The company has no customer service all contacts are responded to by bots.It plays music but offers nothing over much less expensive devices.
