Not worth the money
I had previously given this item 4 stars, May 2025, I have now been forced to amend this to 1 star as the metal chopping blades and gris are simply not man enough for the job! Since purchasing it I have only used it to chop peanuts (for the birds), and it has been used about once envery 6 weeks. The cutters are not bent and the base plate through wich the cutters go is twisted and is no longer performing the role for which it was advertised i,e, Nut chopper.

Not for almonds
This item is useless unless you use on vert soft nuts, the splines bend totaly out of shape when they see an almond.
