Perfect for our NEEDS
I looked and looked for a hand-held shower head with a long hose. All I could find were models with 5-foot hoses. I had one with a 5-foot hose, and it wasn't long enough. I finally found this model with a 7-foot hose on Amazon, and I ordered it instantly. The faucets in our house are all Moen faucets, and I love them. Our kitchen sink has a Moen pull-out faucet, and it is the best kitchen faucet I have ever owned. Our bathroom sinks and bathtubs all have Moen fixtures, and it is a great brand. I had reservations about the plastic hose that came with this model, but after using it, I have nothing bad to say. It works perfectly and I am 100% happy with it. I was a little worried when I first installed it because the "cradle" that screws onto the pipe leaked quite a bit. I followed the directions and used the teflon tape on the threads. I unscrewed the cradle and used more teflon tape, and it still leaked. So I unscrewed it again, took off all of the teflon tape, and tried it again without any teflon tape. It didn't leak this time, and it made me happy, because I had no other ideas how to make it stop leaking. All in all, this is a great shower head and well worth the price. And the 7-foot hose is wonderful.

We love it still after two years.
I've been using this for over two years now. Never had an issue. I bought it to use to bathe my newborn in the baby tub in the bathtub. It worked perfectly. The cord is so long that the nossle can touch the bottom back of a standard tub. The "off" switch turns the stream into a slight trickle, which for our use was great for a light rinse in the newborn stage as well as later being able to turn it lower when I need to put the nossle down - it doesn't go flying and spraying everywhere. We are using it still now with our new infant. My husband also loves it in his showers which he then turns into a bath and lies down in the tub with the nossle. A great way to stay warm without being splashed in the face. It does leak a little at the top and down the hose. It is too minimal for me to care though. With all the use it has got, the handle has not broke as I have seen in other reviews. My toddler loves having a handle. We even brought this with us this summer when we moved across country. We are glad we bought this and highly recommend this one if you are looking for this type of shower nossle.

Great shower head!
We bought this shower head for my mother since she has been diagnosed with cancer and recently broke her collar bone due to the cancer's spread... The good: I picked out this shower head because it matched the finish in our bathroom (chrome) and had a guard that would help keep the shower head from slipping from our grasp even when soapy. We've enjoyed having it and my mother can now shower without trouble. Installation was easy and it even came with a small roll of plumber's tape. 6 ft of tubing is just enough and the shower head has a great flow of water. Pause feature also works great! The bad: Even though it says "chrome" it is actually chrome paint on plastic, so don't expect anything heavy. The bottom bracket (attached, where the head rests) leaks water when you're showering but it isn't terrible. Shower head has 3 settings but the "pulsating" setting just takes away from the spray just to awkwardly pour water on your head -- it's a little disappointing but still gets the job done. Also, putting the shower head back onto the storage bracket is a little awkward and isn't easy when you have a broken collar bone. Overall: We like this, it gets the job done, and it makes my mother's life a little easier. If you're looking into buying the product for a family member who needs it due to health problems, it's great. Hopefully the shower head will come off as easily as it went on so we can bring it with us when we move! Heads up: remember to lay out the hose so it straightens out, the coiling doesn't really wear out AND don't waste the money to buy the suggested shower chair they also sell.

Received a hookah pipe instead of a showerhead UPDATED 7/20/2021
Title says it all. This is a product review for Moen DN8001CH Home Care Multi-Function Handheld Shower with Pause Control, Chrome !!!IF YOU SEE THIS REVIEW FOR ANY OTHER PRODUCT THIS IS NOT A REVIEW FOR THE MANUFACTURER OF THIS PRODUCT ONLY FOR THE PRODUCT PICTUJRED WITH THIS REVIEW!!! EDIT: Well we've finally received the correct product. I had my first experience with retuning something to Amazon and I must say it was a lot easier then I thought it would be. I do feel that my s&h costs should have been refunded for me having to expend fuel and time to correct Amazon's mistake. Now onto the product itself. The showerhead works as advertised we are satisfied with it after a couple of modifications. First we removed the strap on the back of the showerhead as it just got in the way. I removed the 'water pressure limiter" screen on the threaded end of said unit for better pressure. The "pause" button works well. There is a steady drip of water when the button is engaged but honestly I've never had one with a pause/off button for the water flow actually completely stop the flow. The pressure on the unit is great (remember I removed that water pressure limiter before using it) the different spray patterns are good. The hose is long and sturdy. The install was as easy as most others. All in all I would recommend this if you know what you're doing you wont be disappointed. If you are looking for something to make you happy straight out of the box good luck!

Obtained this just prior to knee replacement surgery and a a few weeks of sit down showering. Sure happy we saw this online. The extra hose length made it ideal for using a shower chair and reaching around to get my back and "other areas" and the trickle valve was a great feature too to allow more control. No it isn't chrome to match everything else but it isn't unattractive and certainly does the job. Installation was a breeze, no tools required. Highly recommended.

This is my second set in seven years. I like this unit for my personal support workers. I was moving to a different unit that is a wheelchair unit and I wanted to start with a fresh showerhead. I hope that someday they put out a version. That’s all metal with a wall bracket For children or PSW‘s or shorter and stature I added a metal shower bracket because some of my PSW said to be rough. I contacted the company and suggested they be extra careful to put seals over there parts so washers don’t fall out or find an alternative system, where we don’t have to worry about them falling out , because as a renter, you have to be careful of these things when they’re doing unit inspections

Shower head works well. Appreciate ability to control flow . I use it in shower chair and is good for that purpose.

I have used Moen products for years, and love them. With this handheld, I like the spray selections and the length of the hose. But the paused button is almost impossible to push. I bought this hand held for that reason. To pause the water flow - to save water without having to turn the water on and off. Well I'll most likely have to buy another style. A disappointment this handheld is.

Looked at some others in stores, some were less expensive but either lacked the pause function, had a clumsily wide shower head, or were heavier in the hand than this well-made Moen. A friend with mobility issues who uses a shower chair to bathe, had had one of these in a previous home and missed it...so I was happy to find this on Amazon and gifted it. It's convenient for shampooing toddlers in the tub and bathing the dog as well. I'd like to switch my old shower head for this one. It was apparently easy to install.
