I have tried just about every tool on the market to try to make beachy waves on my fine, medium-length, bone-straight hair, but could never duplicate the results I got in the salon. I couldn’t master the flat iron technique, nor did various curling irons give me the look I wanted. My go-to had been a waving tool, but it did not give a contemporary look. The Remington twist styler changed all that. I watched a couple of short videos online and first time out this tool gave me the easy, beachy waves I have wanted FOR YEARS! Simply twist once and pull slowly out and down and ta-da! I also had no problem keeping small strands of my fine hair in the styler. The only reason I took off a star for this miracle tool is that it seems to only have heat increments of 40 degrees (like 340 to 380). It would be better for people with delicate hair due to texture and or processing to have a 5 or 10 degree increment. Other than that, this is a wonder tool: easy to use and effective in producing long-lasting curls!

As a girl who is very low maintenance with her hair (doesn’t even brush it), I was looking for a tool that I could easily use to style my hair on the rare occasion that it’s necessary or when I just wanna do something different. After watching videos on how to properly use it I thought I could figure it out pretty easily. Unfortunately it was hard for me to figure out how to get nice curls or even waves. My hair is pin straight so I thought that may be the reason or because I really don’t even know how to do my hair but after a while I found a tip that helps keep the hair clamped. Holding the curler pointing down while twisting it the whole way down seems to make a pretty nice curl and if you want it to be curlier just hold it in place a little longer before twisting down. My main issue was having my hair come loose and not staying clamped and also it pulling hairs out. Temperature control seemed to be good and overall is an ok product once you figure out how to use it right.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I bought this because it was on a good deal. Unfortunately it still was not worth the price. It took a month to be delivered and it do not work to curl hair. The power button is on the inside so hopefully you dont have chubby fingers like I do because its hard to get to. I tried to curl my daughters hair and it just pulled her hair. Definitely do no recommend

I love it!! It took a little bit of testing it in fact I came close to returning Glad I didn't. My hair is thin & NEVER holds a wave. This one did. My wave lasted until I washed it. Love love ❤️ worth the money, perfect heat levels for hair type, it didn't pull or damage hair just smooth. I've also straightened my hair with it. Perfect.

The box appeared new. I opened it and there was an area about an inch long with dried industrial glue on the outside of the styler. I couldn’t get it off but figured I’d try again when it was hot. I plugged it and unlocked it and opened/closed the styler to test the tension of it and pinched my pinky in it. I have 3 flat irons and this has never happened to me. I turned it on, adjusted the temp and it was ready in under a minute. I used it to ‘curl’ my very thin, baby fine day 2 hair but it didn’t work that great. I finished curling my hair and tried to use the power button to turn it off but it wouldn’t turn off so I unplugged it. The cord is pretty short and feels/looks super cheap. Tried it on clean hair the next day with the same feelings; feels cheap, short cord, doesn’t work that great. I’m going to give it one more shot but I’m thinking I’m going to send it back. It doesn’t curl any better than any of my other flat irons, it’s a gimmick. Still can’t get that glue off. **Update I used it twice more to make sure I wanted to send it back. Pinched my pinky both times. Finally figured out why, see attached pics. There’s a tiny area at the end of the styler that should not come completely together but it does. I checked all my other stylers and none of them do that. This thing is cheap junk. It feels like something you’d give to your 10yr old. I already sent it back.

Love the curling iron however it was previously used. Only thing in the box was the iron itself no packaging instructions etc. very disappointed in that aspect. Can anything be done about this?

This is not too bad of a flat and curling iron- however it’s hard to curl your hair without burning your hand- I am going to have to purchase a heat glove. Also the temperature setting is in a bad spot and I keep accidentally turning it up or down nearly every section :(
