While traveling by motorcycle I needed a lightweight soldering iron to repair some light gauge wires. I went to 2 big box home improvement stores and their price was $20. This one was far cheaper and worked great, came with several different tips, flux, & solder. The solder iron has an on off switch and temp control.

I needed a second soldering iron for a project, and already have a solid Weller station. So I grabbed this one. It has an assortment of tips, a tub of flux, and a roll of solder. It has a little stand that is okay too. The iron has an on/off switch, a temp dial, and a led to show that it is powered up. It worked really well. Job is done. Mission accomplished. This is a great setup for the price. If you want a good iron, spend more. For a cheap unit, this one is perfect.

Heat up really fast, does a good job ( I use it to make extra holes in my nursery pots for my plants) Not the best design when it comes to the rest stand, it’s super simple. it works but im always worry it may get tipped over since the rod gets very hot (300+) I always have to make sure I clean the whole desk after im done. If the rest stand feels a bit more secure I would feel better and might use it more for other things. For the price it’s good value so can’t really complain. After all we should be responsible for our own safety.

Works great, heats up quick, has a adjustment to control temperature which is neat and very useful, the included tips make it very useful and versatil for different projects and the metal stand is very very useful specially since i work on a wood table, makes repairing electrical projects very easy, it holds heat very well and feels sturdy not like those other ones that feel cheap.

Works perfect and has a heating setting! Absolutely easy to use and love the attachments!

Doesn’t get hot enough to solder copper wiring on amplifier. Affordable, heats quickly and works on some other metals.

I purchased this soldering iron kit as a Christmas gift for my boyfriend, who’s studying computer science, and it’s worked out really well. The kit is beginner-friendly and has everything needed to get started. He’s already used it for small electronics practice and even repaired a metal necklace I gave him. Overall, it’s a solid, reliable kit for beginners and hobbyists, especially for the price.

So far, this kit has worked well. I have been using it to solder 24 AWG solid and stranded wire connections for under-cabinet LED lighting. It reaches a temperature reasonably quickly. The soldering iron stand, rosin, and solder work. Considering the price, I am satisfied.

Es tal como se observa en las fotografías del vendedor, lo he probado un par de veces y me ha gustado mucho, el control de temperatura funciona perfecto, claro, este es para un uso "doméstico" y es un excelente kit para principiantes, pero me gustó mucho debido a la relación calidad-precio. No le pide nada a otros más caros, cabe resaltar que para el multimetro es necesario una batería de 9 V la cual no incluye.

It's a cheap Soldering Iron Kit perfect for people who want to do small jobs or just want to play around with soldering but it does feel cheap and I know it will one day just stop working but right now it works fine and does the job.

Muy bueno, solo que la parte donde se une el cautín y el cable de corriente es un poco delicado y se desprendió. Afortunadamente solo se safó y lo pude colocar en su lugar
