What can you say - it's a Sonos!
Bought this to add to my existing Sonos system even though a newer model is out because this model still has Ethernet connectivity. I like keeping as much load off my wireless network as possible and this device fits the bill. Great sound. Everything you would expect from a Sonos.

Brilliant & money well spent.
These Sonos systems are truly incredible. I have had my Sonos Arc for a couple of years and had it paired with a pair of the Sonos One SL speakers for the rear channels in addition to a single gen 3 sub. I recently added a second gen 3 sub and could not be happier. If your putting together a home cinema system I urge you to just go with the buy one cry once idea and get the complete system with a pair of subs. I believe all in with the newer rears and the new arc ultra it will put you around $3500 which is money well spent and for 99/100 people this system will exceed your expectations. Kudos to Sonos for putting together such a brilliant system at the price point it’s offered at.

3D sound
So much has been written about the extraordinary sonic experience of the Sonos soundbar and sub system that there is nothing I can add. The two units will set you back about $1500 total which is a lot but all I can say is “worth every penny.” My wife can now hear dialogue on television programs so well that we have stopped using the closed caption feature we used for years. Best review I have is my wife was standing near the sub and commented she didn’t hear anything coming out of it. I turned it up and played some Bach from Spotify and told her to close her eyes and point at where the sound was coming from. She couldn’t. The speaker arrays and the engineering of the system bounces music around the room so that you are immersed in it, rather than it blaring from any one spot. As one review said, it is indeed “3D sound.” Connected to the ARC HDMI on my smart TV I am continually impressed with this sub and the Sonos system. We got the white sub and it is beautiful as well. I did find the WiFi connectivity more challenging than many indicated; I had to turn the sub upside down and manually type in the speaker serial number to get it to connect, but once done it is sonic heaven. Love it.

We love Sonos!
This subwoofer packs a punch! It is amazing when combined with the sound bar and surround speakers. Easy to plug in and connect to the rest of the sound system. It isn’t too heavy and can be placed practically anywhere! The construction of the subwoofer is great because the sound is being channeled through the center rather than at the bottom (so no risk of the speakers hitting the surface of whatever it’s sitting on). It is truly amazing! Definitely worth it if you value a quality surround sound experience!

It sounds great
Best sub for a soundbar system.I've tried the Klipsch cinema 600 and 300, Samsung various, lg various, but this is in a class all by itself. My main level is an open concept - Kitchen, Living Room, are Dining are all open. This thing sounds great without rattling the windows (although it probably could if I turned it up).Night mode setting is helpful for when the kids go to bod.Don't waste your money elsewhere. Buy once, cry once. It's worth it.Pros:1. Sound Quality2. App & Settings3. It looks great (white and glossy)Cons:1. Price - hope you're able to find it on sale!

Perfect fit for our "living room", a second listening room
I have had this sub on my wish list ever since updating our home stereo system 1 1/2 years ago. We are admitted musicaholics, and our main listening room (our family room) has ultra high end components and speakers which we enjoy immensely. We have Sonos speakers or amplifiers in many of our other rooms to provide "very good" sound when we are doing things around the house versus simply sitting and listening (in our main listening spots). This sub-woofer made our sound in our living room (occasional listening spot) significantly fuller and more enjoyable. Good value for money and the set up is amazingly easy - it literally took me three minutes to have it set up and integrated into the room.

Can’t be added as a second sub
I was very excited about Sonos, gave myself some time to get used to my surround system with the arc, two era 300s and a sub.Decided to get a second sub. Saw a refurbished item on Sonos’ site and ordered. Followed instructions and failed to add as a second sub.Had to wait for 90 minutes to talk to a service rep, troubleshooted with them for 3 hours on the phone, basically doing the same thing over and over again and sending diagnostics etc. service rep was using a call script based on the old app and often wasn’t clear on what they actually needed me to do. If I wasn’t a technical person I would have kicked in the sub…After 3 hours they gave up, weren’t able to put me through to L2 support (even though this was just around noon time). Said L2 would give me a call back which never happened.Thinking that the issue might be with the sub I returned it (still waiting for the refund) and bought a new one off amazon. This has the same issue!!!Whether it’s the app or the sub, this just isn’t working and yes the wait time to talk to support right now is 100min…Oh, the only other option to get in touch with Sonos is to write to the CEO… and as expected I got some bs canned response, talking about their app and headphones. Clearly no one actually reads those emails.Extremely disappointed in Sonos.
