Lawnmower Blade Balancer!
I mounted this horizontally on some shelving next to my bench grinder. I just drilled a hole slightly smaller than the shaft and then hammered it in. I use it to balance lawn mower blades while sharpening them. It just happens to have a bearing that fits the center hole on my Craftsman lawnmower perfectly. I trust this way more than those cheap balancers that have the blade rest flat on top of it. Those you have to eye ball level. They're probably good enough, but this thing doesn't leave much room for error. Either it rotates left or right and needs more metal removed, or it doesn't rotate and it's balanced. I got the idea from seeing those ridiculously expensive wall mounted balancers and then going on youtube to see if there was a DIY version. Sure enough, some guy had a video using this item. I'm sure you could fabricate some sort of magnet to keep the blade from falling off like the expensive ones, but I've never had my blade fall off. The bearings are wide enough that the entire width of the blade is in contact with it. I only put it up there for a couple seconds, take it off and grind and then re-check until it doesn't move. The blade is never left there where it could be accidentally bumped off, I don't have anything I care about under it and I keep my hands close so i can grab it in the center, if for some reason it did pop off. Those magnets are pretty cool though. ;)Hope that helps you.

Turn regular bits into pattern bits in a pinch
I have these on standby to turn regular 1/2 bits into pattern/ flush trim bits.

Loose tolerance
The internal and outside dimension are as advertisedThe bearing is somewhat loose and moves slightly in an out and side to side not anything significant that would make it functionally substandard.Overall a good purchase for the money paid and will work for the intended purpose. One wish is if they could include spacing washers. Those are hard to find and if a washer is damaged it needs a replacement together with the bearing.

Tread of screws should be listed.
Bearing works great but tread of screws don't work for my router bits.

blade balancer
for a "mower blade balancer" I added a 5mmID x 1mm thick washer between each bearing on the 3/16" shaft because as-shipped the bearings stick together somewhat, causing the whole 'gang' to rotate rather than just the bearing the mower blade hangs on. because the increased thickness of the added washers (5 total), I had to leave off 1 bearing.

Excellent replacement parts
I like the fact that they are available and less expensive than most other brands and they seem to last longer also.
