Level up your Champagne experience, other sparkling wines too
Who knew glasses could make such a difference? Discovered our old champagne glasses were "the wrong shape" so we boought these. The theory (I thnk) being that the glasses should be narrow at the top and wide at the bottom to retain the bouquet and the bubbles. Whatever, they look nice and are comfortable hold. They're much bigger than normal champagne glasses so guests may think you're being a bit stingy, and the bottle may empty more quickly! A bit of a pain to wash, due to the narrow opening and being quite tall. They're supposed to be dishwasher safe but I've never tried. Yes, the bubbles do seem to last longer (compared with our previous glasses) but the contents don't usually remain in the glass long enough for that to be a problem.

A sophisticated looking glass!
As far as glasses go, this is a particularly nice one! The glass has quite a nice profile; the inner diameter of the the glass remains at a constant 6.5 cm until it narrows to about 3 cm at it's base. The weight of the glass feels sufficiently right, and the crystal glass composition leads to a surface which is nice and smooth.It's a very stylish glass (a classic design!) and so i'd recommend for special occasions such as dinner parties; any guest is certain to be impressed by this glass. Given the cost of these glasses, i'd be a little wary of using them for everyday use, unless cost is not an issue!

Top quality glasses.
I was a tad apprehensive ordering quality glasses to be delivered, but I have to say the packaging was top notch! All glasses arrived perfect wrapped in a sturdy box. The glasses are quality, super thin glass and really clear, they are superb.
