Great Chef Knife at a great price

Remember what you paid for this knife.
Granted this is not a pro grade knife; this is an entry level chef's knife. However, for the street price of this knife, you will be hard pressed to find anything at twice this price point that offers the quality, balance and ease of use. Best of all, this knife keeps a clean edge and sharpens well. Simply put, it is sharp right out the box and it's easy to keep it that way. Would I recommend this knife to friends and family? Absolutely. And this is coming from a Dalstrong user. I use this knife as a go to for grueling, bulk cutting jobs whenever we have BBQs. So far, I've never had to sharpen the knife in the middle of an event. It cuts like a champ.So don't think about the price of this knife, just get it and be pleasantly surprised. Besides, what will $20.00 and some change get you these days? Three or four cups of coffee? Believe me, you will end up with something offering far greater value when all is said and done.

Feels much flimsier than my HENCKELS set chef knife
Overall weight is about the same but the blade and tang is much thinner than my HENCKELS chef knife from a set I bought about 15 years ago, and it's much more visible looking at the tang. This item is the one in the pictures on the left and top in the pictures. It's probably a great knife but it simply just doesn't have the same quality of feel in it's weightedness and I guess that's somewhat important to me when I'm cooking and investing in something other than a cheaper knife.

Razor sharp but very lightweight.
This knife is razor sharp. I bought it because all my chef's knives (Wusthof and Henckels) were out for sharpening and I desperately needed a chef's knife. Amazing value for the money.

Good knife

Cheap, light, crummy knife
I’m a professional chef and I got this just as a cheap house knife for my restaurant. I knew it would not be like my $150+ chef knives, but I was hoping for more. It’s really thin, light, cheap, and the thin-sharp top will dig into your finger if you hold it like many chefs (choking up on the handle). See picture if that makes sense. Overall you can buy a better house knife for $20.

Lightweight but very good knife
Easy to use because it is so light. Edge is sharp and given other Henckels Solutions knife I own I expect it to stay sharp.
