The screw have to be snug NOT TIGHT. Once you strip it it’s no longer safe to fly the drone with the covers still on it

The motor covers did exactly as advertised and solved my prop strike problem

The media could not be loaded.  Product is as described, fit perfect, and came with additional hardware which I always appreciate. This isn’t necessarily a negative but I was assuming they would be aluminum has to be later, but they are magnetic so whatever metal they are made out of is heavier but seeing how the payload the DJI Mavic Mini is only around 420 g anyway it’s really not a big deal to have the added weight even if it’s minuscule. Just wanted that knows that they are not aluminum. Drone functioned perfect as always makes me feel a little bit better knowing the motors are protected! I’m more than likely return shop for some different colors change it up!

I installed these easily simply by removing the props, putting on the cap, a bit of fresh blue loctite on the screw, repeat 3 more times and you should be good to go. I haven't noticed any erratic behavior of the drone since installing, and it is nice to know that my motors are protected from flying debris.Update, I have since done further testing and found that although minor, the motors have to work harder because of these caps and the added weight on the motors, although not much, it is pushing the limits of the drone. I did a test with the caps on and prop guards indoors and got a bunch of max power load reached errors.As the Mavic mini is already pushing its limits in literally every way, I have since removed these caps for the time being.

Personal Experience:Reading up on the Mavic Mini many people mentioned that maintaining the drone is easy but you should take steps to protect your drone. Covering the motors from dust and dirt seems like an easy win. I added the caps and was ready to go in no time. Simply removing the screws and blades then reinstalling with the cap in place was all that it took. If you do plan on doing this I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND doing one motor at a time, each set of blades has a dedicated rotate direction and if you take all of them off at the same time it will take more effort to make sure the correct blades are on each motor. the motor cap screws for the MINI 2 Are too small, hard to get out and easily cam strip the screws, won't use them, the red caps for the original Mavic MINI worked well

Very carefully put these on. Didn’t tighten too tight, but snug. Started it up and was going to hover and the right back blades flew off almost hitting my left eye. I am already packing them up and sending back!! Do not buy!!

The media could not be loaded.  The caps are excellent, but if you drone comes with the small case it doesn't fit at all. You need to push it a little in order to put it in and to take it out you need to pull it one side first and then the other very carefully in order to do not brake or damage the arm. So actually is an issue because the case and no the caps itself
