Warm and Light
This is an excellent jacket. It is not a jacket for wearing outside in windy, below freezing weather for any extended period of time unless you are exercising. However, it is extremely comfortable as essentially a very warm sweater for inside wear or when the outdoor temperature is in the 40s to 60s. It is particularly comfortable indoors, for example if you keep your indoor temperature in the high 60s or low 70s. The hood is great when there are drafts or just for extra warmth. The size runs true, which seems typical for Eddie Bauer. It is a very nice looking jacket with nice color and style. The zippers are good quality. The zippered pockets are good sized and convenient for holding wallets and, for example, an iPhone Pro Max. The sleeve cuffs and hem keep out drafts. I am very pleased with it.

Great quality, super comfortable!
I bought one of the cheap versions of these jackets, and found out that you get what you pay for. The other jacket had small rips, tears, and stuffing falling out within a couple of days of light usage. I returned it and bought this Eddie Bauer jacket and could not be happier. It’s lightweight, and can compress down to the size of a soda can for travel, but is warm enough to wear in colder weather down into near freezing temps to keep you warm. Has a hood for windy or rainy days. While it’s not completely waterproof, it does a nice job of keeping you dry in rain and the jacket itself dries quickly. Fits true to size, and is very stylish. If you’re considering saving a few bucks on a cheap brand, save yourself the hassle and buy the slightly more expensive quality brand. You’ll be happy with the value for money.

I love this jacket for any chilly weather
I now have three of these jackets, in different colors. Real goose down, harvested humanely. 650 fill power works well for me from 65 degrees down to around 40 degrees. When it gets colder, I slip an outer jacket over this as a base layer. The hood stays on well. Eddie Bauer means quality and I have no evidence to the contrary. It's a great value for a lightweight, but warm, down jacket.

Great value & quality
tldr; This coat is a great value with pockets that are a bit annoying, keeping it at 4/5 instead of a 5/5. If you don't mind pockets that are a bit awkward, I recommend this coat. The coat fits as expected. I usually wear small and small was a good fit for me. I'm 5' 10" and 155lbs. Real down feathers are used in this coat so it's light and warm. It's comfortable between 30 to 60 degrees Fahrenheit depending on the weather, how active you are, if you wear layers, etc. For example, on a sunny day I'll wear this coat for temps as low as 30 degrees with a sweater. When the weather is worse or it is night time, it is comfortable for temps as low as 40 degrees. This coat does a decent job at being a wind-breaker but you do feel some chills when the winds start to get violent. Shouldn't be a problem unless you live somewhere with crazy wind. There are 2 big pockets inside and 2 external zipper pockets. The external pockets are stitched behind the down layer but there is only nylon on the side touching your body. This isn't a problem until it's around 35 degrees outside where the bottom of the nylon will get cold if you aren't wearing gloves. The pockets inside are stitched in front of the exterior pockets which can feel awkward when you store several items. For example, if you store a beanie in the inside pockets, there'll be a visible bulge and it brushes against the top of your hand when you put your hand in its pockets. I can't attest to the water resistance as I haven't owned it long enough. Overall, it's a great value ($80) for a down jacket and I'm happy with my purchase. The awkward pockets don't bother me too much myself, but that's all I can think of that I'm not satisfied with.

Avoid Black Friday Bait & Switch!!
Eddie Bauer Bait & Switch Black Friday Event. AVOID. You won't get what you ordered. Title of item I bought says, "Eddie Bauer Men's CirrusLite Hooded Down Jacket." I received a non-hooded jacket very quickly. No Hood is a dealbreaker for me--I was led to believe by the title (and picture) it was a hooded jacket. I will be returning. Another dissatisfied customer said it they received a 550-fill power down jacket even though the description says 650 fill power. Get your act together, Eddie Bauer. You are supposed to be quality.

Its warm, its light, it fits well, its price was reasonable.
This was my first puffy/down coat and I really enjoy it. I got the large-tall as its hard to find coats that fit. It fits perfectly, it's a great winter coat and has been surprisingly warm. I've been taking daily walks with it in 20-30 degrees and have no issues with warmth. Its been a long time since I've used a hood but it's nice to have when walking in the cold when there is some wind. You can move easily in it, its light, it keeps you warm, and wind doesn't penetrate it. It doesn't breath as much as some coats so you may find you build up moisture inside it if you are working fairly hard for a while. I haven't had any issues so far, but I suspect the outer shell fabric would probably rip/tear fairly easily if it hooked on a nail or something sharp so this probably functions more as a casual jacket or hiking coat than anything you'd want to do work in. I'm very happy with it and will probably keep a coat like this around for years to come as I've been more comfortable in the cold this year than I have ever been with other coats.

Great Puffer
I got this on an Amazon Special. It is a great jacket for the price. Can be squeezed down to a very small shape for packing in a suitcase and is very warm while being very light. I brought it on a cruise to Iceland and Scotland with no regrets! Well-made with good pockets and hood, too.
