These shorts are great. The size is perfect. They are very comfortable and seem to be made well. I will be ordering more. My only complaint and it is very minor is that the sew all the tags on, so it may take a minute to remove the thread they used to attach them.**Update** So I bought 2 pairs of these shorts. While the material is durable and the fit is great both pairs have issues with the zippers. The first pair the zipper goes up but takes several attempts to actually get it to zip. The second pair some of the teeth on the zipper came off during a wash and the zipper will come apart from the side with the missing teeth.So while I think the shorts are great the low-quality zipper ruins what otherwise would be great. I cannot give it more than 1 star because I cannot wear them if I cannot trust the zipper. Maybe if I was in first grade and having the zipper down was a normal thing. Unfortunately it looks pretty poor for an adult

My husband wears these to work year round due to working with a lot of heat producing machinery. He got these shorts and really liked them for about a month. Then the zipper broke in every pair he bought. We started looking at them and the zipper is very cheap and easily broken. We have had them all repaired but that was an expense we did not need on top of buying them. They need to upgrade the zippers in these shorts and they would be perfect.

Ok, the zipper is not the best, but everything else is awesome. The material is nice and soft and have noted no fading issues in the wash. However, it is cotton, so obviously over time the color fades, especially darker colors. Someone complained that the back pockets were too small for wallets--don't you know you are supposed put wallets in back pockets. Please! The zippers have not broke on mine as some has stated, but it does buch up requiring some effort to make it go although the way up, but that is more based on my body style and the stretching of the waist. If the zipper were to break, I would still get them repaired based on how great the shorts are otherwise. I love flat verses cargo pants option for every color as the cargo pants are great for activities and the flat are great when you want to look nicer for a party or event. I love these shorts.

I ordered a pair of these cargo shorts in gray and liked them so much I ordered a second pair in tan. The first pair are great. They fit as expected and are made of a very soft, comfortable material. I also like that they come down to the top of my knee. The second pair fit and feel the same way but unfortunately in spite of what the ad and description says they are NOT cargo shorts, they're just regular shorts. I do nature photography which involves hiking and carrying equipment, and having a lot of pockets for loose gear, a water bottle, and miscellaneous items comes in very handy. I have read other reviews from purchasers who had the same problem (ordered cargo shorts, received regular shorts). Otherwise, nice shorts. I plan on ordering at least one more pair.

I gave the shorts a 4 star rating only because of the low cost. I wear a size 36, but ordered size 38 in case there was any shrinking. They did shrink down to about a size 36 after just one cold water wash and dry. They fit like they should now, and are comfortable to wear. I had read other reviews that stated problems with the zipper, and I can see why there are complaints. The zipper is very cheaply made, and seems undersized for these shorts. But again, for the low price, the shorts are a good buy.

PROS: Fit great (big and tall guy approved!), comfy stretch fabric that allows you to move around freely, lightweight, good feel.CONS: Fabric quality and assembly are not on par with the cost. After the first wash the stitching was coming loose in some places and the second wash the color is fading.

Ordered these for my husband. He says they are his FAVORITE pair of shorts now. He’s 6’3” and ranges between 34”-36” waist. They have enough room for either size comfortably and he doesn’t need to wear a belt, which he hates! They are the perfect length too for his height! Just above the knees. We live in FL and they are perfect for the hot weather. Will be ordering him more! They were meant to be work shorts but he won’t wear them to work now because he loves them so much. Mostly because he doesn’t want them getting stained from when he’s painting cars. Hahahaha - they are very classy too.

Poor quality fabric. Faded badly after washing (cold water w/like colors). Also shrunk significantly, though the stretchy material made them still wearable, they pucker at the front pockets. Rear pockets are strangely small. Very difficult to get a wallet in and out. Mine are the flat front style, not the cargo, as title states.
