Colonil Leather Gel

Its a bit expensive, but this has been my 'only' leather conditioner/ water resistant product I use on my leather products. I have used it for years and it 'never' gets sticky, gummy, oily, turns black, or leads to leather cracks! Not for suede, or new-buck leather, its for any smooth finish bovine products that you want to last and look great !!

Used on two thrifted leather jackets that were dulled out and in need of conditioner. One was lambskin and the other genuine leather. Rubbed on with a microfiber cloth and left to dry for 24 hrs with great results. Both were brought back to life, their color darkened to a rich black, no change to original textures, and gained a slight sheen. I'd used Collonil Waterstop previously as recommended by the brand of boots I'd bought, and was satisfied enough with that product I trusted this gel would be an equally good conditioner for my leather jackets.

Although it does not waterproof at all, it does condition suede, nubuck, and full grain leathers without darkening, or changing the appearance. In this regard, it is in a league of its own.

I've used this product on the following leathers: cowhide, calf, lamb, kangaroo, split hides, and suede. It's worked wonderfully on all of them, and I'm especially impressed on how great it works on suede! It's time consuming to apply on suede, especially on well loved vintage pieces, but it's very much worth it. It doesn't have a smell, and it doesn't aggravate my contact dermatitis. It's pricey, but it's worth every penny.

Very effective to treat leather.

The best I've found for conditioning leather bags. This bottle came with missing applicator Was probably broken off during packing but I had the old bottle so could replace the top . Have tried several other leather conditioners in the past. This conditions and softens beautifully.

I wish I could leave a picture of what an amazing job this did on restoring my pink leather wallet and my black suede over the knee boots! The wallet had a few years of color transfer and I have been hesitant to clean it since a lot of products say they will damage the color. While this did have that same warning my pink leather is still the same soft pink but finally clean and back to the original color! The suede is always a bear to take care of but as these were in pretty bad shape I thought I don’t have much to lose. This turned my boots a beautiful rich matte black and I’m in love! Very happy I bought the larger size because I will now be spending the rest of my evening finding anything leather and cleaning it...just because!

My old black beaitiful calf bag had been very sad and I could not use it due to faded leather and looked so old. I sat someone who had a same bag at a restaurant and her bag looked new and amazing. I said "I love your bag. Actually I have a same one but very old and cannot carry anymore. She told me this product. Wow! My bag us revived. You clean with the damped towel and dry out and then put thin layer of this cream and leave it. 98% will absorb in 30 min and just wipe off. Repeat if needed. Highly recommended

Habe bisher Lederwaren (Schuhe/Handtaschen) mit Spray imprägniert. Dieses Ledergel ist dafür aber viel besser geeignet, weil es pflegt und imprägniert! Schmutz setzt sich kaum fest und gegen Feuchtigkeit ist es ebenso wirksam!

Leather was soft and supple. Good smell and easy to apply
