I needed something to use in this custom cocktail glass chiller. These where just the right size. Probably not a typical use case, but it works.

These are 3x3" plastic outer gel ice packs. I purchased these are the occasional owie that needs some cooling, bug bites, bumps, bruises, strains. My 8 year old grandson loves them. They are small enough to put into any freezer. They are reusable, but are just a plastic outer - it is thicker, but I can see after repeated use, they may not last a real long time, but one never knows. Of course there a lot of them. Time will tell, so I always add that I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful!

These worked well for a specific use. I used them with a boxer short that had a pocket to hold ice packs for a post vasectomy recovery. The ice backs are small and I put two or three in at a time. They stayed cold for maybe and hour. Worked well for this purpose but don’t think I’ll use the again.

These are very helpful for nosebleed or small injuries.

These ice packs due to size do not stay frozen for long. I have bought them twice because they are small and not completely frozen solid so I can mush them in my thermos around my medicine for travel. TSA has always let them go through as long as they are cold.

I bought these due to cholinergenic urticaria (heat allergy w/hives) and I do like to have these tiny cold packs, because they dont completely freeze solid, and they can just be tossed in my insulated lunch box for when I feel hot. I can grab one, and just spot cool my body this way. They do stay cool for a wee bit, but not very long, at least against skin. In a cooler, they do stay cold.Theyre very refreshing. I can also put them under leggings or in socks. They seem great for little bumps and boo boos also. They do help to reduce swelling. Theyre great little cold packs. They are NOT ice packs. But they are pretty great.

Life changer. I have used these for swollen eyes and have heated them in hot water for compresses. 10 stars. Small and easy to store.

Purchased these as a spare set of gels to use with a wrist wrap, but have used them for so many other things.They're perfect for all the little bumps and bruises that my kids get. Not to mention for burns - I took a pan out of the oven the other night, then promptly forgot I had done that and grabbed the handle - ouch! I rotated through all six of these for the remainder of the night and was able to keep the pain and blistering at bay. They don't stay icy for very long, but by the time I was done with the sixth one - the first one was already frozen again.
