SwissmarGlass Rimmer with Tongs

This is a simple tool that gets the job done. Heavy enough to stay in one place, holds a good amount of salt/sugar or juice for rimming a cocktail glass and washes quickly and easily in the dishwasher. Flat for easy storage and unbreakable. What more could you ask for in a simple tool? Very pleased.

I entertain friends quite a bit and was tired of searching for something adequate to put the salt in for margaritas. I tried getting a plastic rimmer and it would scoot all over the place and flex and did not look good. This stainless steel one looks BEAUTIFUL and is the perfect solution for a frequent margarita or cocktail drinker. I have big margarita glasses and they fit. We use the tongs for the lime wedges. I cannot possibly fathom using them to dip the margarita glass, they are too flimsy and small for that task.

Love these. They are durable. Be aware that the trough is smaller than a typical glass rimmer. We had to trim the sponge to fit and larger glasses have to be rolled around to be salted. Otherwise a great product!

Most importantly it fits my Margarita glasses and it's not cheap looking! I agree with other reviews, I wish there was a cover (to protect from accidental spills, nosy pets, or annoying flies).

WAY too small, while it may work for smaller plastic, it did not come close to the diameter of our glass margarita glasses.

I bought this as a gift but I should have bought two. One for the liquid to rim the glass with and one for the salt, sugar etc. It worked well and was a well received gift.
