Have bought a few of these because they are my favorite among the ones I've tried. Nice large numbers and large display, high contrast LCD. Pretty long battery life, even with rechargables. The sensor batteries especially last a long time (I use lithium so I don't need to change them much, lasts well longer than a year). Nice to see the humidity levels inside and outdoors.Up to three channels for multiple sensors. It can progress through each sensor, showing the value, then moving to the next. Or you can set each one to show just a single sensor, and flip through by touching the screen. Very functional touchscreen. Nice blue light when you want it. Seems like good accuracy.I keep one in the fridge too, and put a sensor down on the bottom shelf in the back. That gives me two temperature measurements so I can keep it good and cold but without freezing stuff in the back.I don't like the white color. It visually dims the display effect. So I put some black gaffer tape along the edges to make it completely black. I think it looks much better this way, and also gives it a nice grip texture. I think they should make them flat black not white.Great product, have had a few for several years, no failures. It's the only kind I use now.

I used this to check the humidity in the crawl space. I was debating encapsulating the area and wanted to check humidity levels. I’ve spent t lot of money replacing joists under the house and want them protected (especially from a white wood eating mold). Using these I was easily able to watch humidity levels in three areas of the crawl space and it was obvious from the results I needed to encapsulate the space among other things. Spent a bunch more money encapsulating the area. Readings are now in the normal level range.Cons: Supplied batteries die quickly. I use Copper top Duracell. If the location is hard to get to, I'd put good batteries in immediately.Pros: Simple to set up. Do that before you install. Reception works perfectly. I was surprised at this. Accurate. Easy to understand. Reasonably priced.

I'm a little disappointed to be honest. It is a cheap sensor, but it is off by more than 5% in humidity and 7F in temperature. I have it sitting next to 3 other temp and humidity sensors for testing/validation. The other three all agree within about 1% and 1F. This is after sitting next to the cluster for over 6 hours.I am using it with an SDR and the monitoring software known as CheckMK. I wrote a custom plugin to monitor this and other 433MHz sensors. I wrote the ability to enter corrections for both temp and humidity into my plugin. I don't like that the sensor is that far off from the start, but I have the ability to correct for it with my monitoring at least.I have 4 more of these coming, and I will see how they compare to my three-sensor-source-of-truth-cluster.UPDATE 30 June 2025:The other 4 that I ordered came in and were *less* inaccurate than the first. I'm guessing the first one had a bad factory calibration. The other four were off by about 1F and <5% humidity. Revised to 4 stars because for the price, they are decent *if you have the ability to set a corrective offset*. Just wish they were more accurate from the factory

Works just as described if not better. The weather channels are always centered in populated areas and I don't live there. This lets me know exactly what the temperature and humidity is in my backyard. It don't get no more accurate than that!It probably took me about 3 minutes to set up, and most of that was reading the instructions and paperwork that came with it. Really I think all you have to do is plug in the time and time zone. After that you just have to find the right spot to place to hang the outside part. No direct sunlight, no harsh winds. It's more or less a matter of common sense.It's not big and ugly so it usually sits on our coffee table. We had a lesser version of this that only told the temperature. It finally went after about 7 years so we got this and we're both extremely pleased (the HB and me). No more going out over or under dressed because we didn't take the humidity into account. What a difference that makes!I highly recommend this. If need temperature and humidity for both indoors and outside, this is your baby. Plus... you can buy extra units (three total) to put in other places. I'm in the process--well, I will be in winter--of trying to determine whether I should store paints and even extra canned food in my three season sun room or my garage. I'm not sure which spot is less likely to freeze. No use for frozen paint, even for touch ups, and frozen soup just doesn't taste good. You know?Great little set and very fairly priced!

The system comprises a base (receiver) which displays local temperature and humidity and remote unit (sender) which transmits temperature and humidity of the remote location to the baseAs to design: both the base and the sender are poorly designed for 2 AAA batteries instead of AA or larger capacity batteries. The smaller battery size requires more frequent battery replacements than AA batteries. In my case, I had to replace the batteries in the sender every 3 months until the sender unit failed after about 6 months.The base unit works well and is an attractive unit designed to hang on a wall or sit on a table.The sender unit needs redesign for larger batteries and longer functioning and more reliable components.
