Clear PVC needed
This clear PVC pipe was used and needed to see my water level. It worked well. I think it was a little pricy, but I needed something clear, and it fit the standard 1 1/4 " fittings.

Simply clear (blue tint) schedule 40 PVC
This did exactly what I wanted. It allows me to see what is happening with my well pump. I can see the water flow/fill amount of the suction and discharge. I can even see the disturbance caused by the air flow as the pump is pulling a solid prime.
