Great product used it to find cold spots in house and check seal leakage around windows and doors ideal also for checking fridge and oven temperatures and also checking children's temperature without having to stick a normal thermometer in a childs mouth so many uses well worth money a must buy I'd say!!

Measuring the temp of things is fun!
Bought to measure wood-fired pizza oven temp. Many things have temperatures. And have been measured. Still fun. Haven't had anything to validate actual temp against apart from room temperature but it measures temp of hotter things repeatably.

Not a cooking core temp thermometer! SURFACE ONLY!!
Bought for a colleague who loves it! Very accurate! However do not be fooled by this telling the temperature of cooked items (core) as it is only a surface temperature reader! Not for sending cooked items I.e high risk, still use a normal probe! Ideal for pastry (sugarwork, caramels etc)
