Great little light.
When I first got the light I put an old Alkaline AAA in it and tested it out. Was very disappointed, but I thought it might just be the battery. So I got some lithium AAA, non-rechargable cells, and holy brightness. Lights up my back yard. Seems unnatural for that amount of light to come from such a small light. I carry this light every day and use the low and medium power all the time. I keep it in the breast pocket of my white coat, it takes up less room than most pens. I haven't made the switch to 10440 cells, but I imagine it would blind my patients even on the lowest setting. If you're hesitant, don't be. Great light for the money. I'll buy more from lumapower.

Very useful flashlight!!
I have had this flashlight for a long time and it has been a great little flashlight it's a great company, it's bright as hell the clip works great no need to worry about it but get the li-ion batteries to get the lumens out of it !!!!!

My favorite flashlight.
Great flashlight. Works best with rechargeable lithium ion batteries. Brightest for its size that I have ever used or seen. The green switch cover will wear out but I think they sell replacement parts for that.

good
Good little light. The clip is mediocre and the green on the button ripped off, so now it is harder to depress the button.

Finally! Flashlight perfection.
This has become my constant companion. I bought one a couple years ago (I think direct from Lumapower or from batteryjunction or something) and it immediately replaced the several other larger (both AAA and AA) flashlights I was experimenting with. I am a grown-a$$ man but my wife always teases me about my toys: pocketknives, flashlights, rain jackets, and wool socks. I am basically always searching for the one to rule them all. I have found it in the Delemont S17, but that's another story. I have certainly found it in this LM21. The clip is not my thing, I pulled it off and wrapped a paracord loop around the thinner part of the body (see blurry photo attached). I can then go trail running with the loop around my middle finger like a ring, ready to light up a treacherous section whenever I need it. Most of the time it lives in my back pocket and, despite a clearly defined wear pattern on my khakis, it neither gets in the way nor is hard to get to. Illumination success!

good light output, lousy clip
I got this flashlight from battery junction for maybe $25 so I don't understand why they are asking $57.82 on Amazon. The clip is pretty flimsy like most single AAA flashlights. The clip is reversible for clipping to your hat. Light output is pretty great with the right batteries. I like the simple clicky interface with only two modes. The clicky button recently tore off and doesnt appear to be replaceable like the Streamlight Microstream. I feel like none of these AAA lights have a decent clip and that is my biggest gripe about the LM21, Microstream, the newer Olight I3s, Coast G19 etc. The Pelican 1910 has the strongest clip I've seen lately but it is not reversible, and it is really not that strong of a clip and doesn't hook to your pocket well due to it's shallow upturn on the end of the clip. I sure wish someone would make a single AAA flashlight with a good and strong clip, because I have bought most of em out there and either lost them or bent the clip to the point of uselessness.
