Malt Paste Ferrets Vitamin Supplement & Treat

I have bought tons of these over the years for my pet rats. They go nuts for it, great for treats or for helping them take medications! A bottle lasts me a couple of months depending on usage, but great for your rattos.

I use this for my rats and they are obsessed!! It’s literally their favorite treat other than fresh veggies they go crazy for this stuff. I use a bit on my finger and let them nibble it off. If you have rats or ferret who might be prone to biting, I would recommend just putting it on a spoon. My rats are still getting use to this being on my finger and they have definitely bit a couple times using it (not hard bites but they are slowly learning about my skin lol) But this can be really good for a closer training. Definitely not healthy enough to give every day but you can definitely give a tiny amount every day or give every few days

DO NOT BUY!!! The main ingredients are literally toxins to ferrets. Milk, milk derivatives, vegetable derivatives, fats and oils, cereals! This tube may cost $15 relatively but it actually cost me $400 in emergency vet bills because upon giving my ferret the first try, he puked six times within five minutes and became severely dehydrated. I feel so bad for giving the good reviews the benefit of the doubt and not even glancing at the ingredients. Ferrets CANNOT have what this recipe is made of! So dangerous to be selling when it was literally like giving my ferret poison

My babies absolutely love it and it’s not Marshall. Wish it was in a larger tube and/or eco friendly packaging.

(Someone said it had bad ingredients for ferrets, but I can’t tell by reading the ingredients listing.) My ferrets barely licked it and weren’t interested. They LOVED the Marshall’s brand when they were shedding a lot, although I try to stay away from Marshall products. I thought I’d give this a try, but I know ferrets can be picky and random lol Maybe I’ll try mixing it in with their ‘’soupies’’ or topping food after researching the ingredients, which I should have done first. Perhaps it’s better suited for rats, but I will find out.

I used to put some of this on my ferrets tummy while i used to cut their nails, it kept them still and they LOVED it!
