NO PROBLEMS

Replaced original Flag on brick mail box. Original flag used only one screw to hold flag unit together and mount to brick mail box. Used screw from origninal flag to replace small screw holding unit together and to hold it to the brick mail box to help drill the two holes for the screws that mounted the flag to the brick mail box. Do recommend that you use drill bit made for concrete, brick etc to drill the holes.

I live in a gated community and sometimes the HOA has nothing better to do than to nit pick. So for whatever reason, I go out to my mailbox and I see that my flag broke off. Two days later, I had a citation letter in that same mailbox! So I hopped onto Amazon and found this Universal Mailbox Flag. It's got different holes and screw sizes to fit a variety of mailboxes, and I found the fit for mine.The good: It works. It isn't all that expensive. Since I'm in an HOA, I have to get my replacement mailbox through a vendor that charges a kidney and half of your liver. I decided it's better to just get the flag.The downside: It's not the sturdiest thing in the world. It's holding up fine but I hope it doesn't blow off when the wind picks up (I'm in South Florida).Overall, it's worthwhile. Saved me some money and allowed me to use the mailbox a little longer.

Ive been looking to replace my mailbox flag forever. This was easy to install looks great and I really like the color red that it is ...not pink but a deep red.

Easy to install and it’s durable. Really like how there is a slight indent (tension) when putting up the flap that keeps it from falling down on its own.

The flag itself is fine, and is straightforward to install. The screws that came with the flag for the purpose of installing into brick are too weak. The heads snapped off both screws when torquing them into pre drilled holes. It’s holding for now, but I doubt this is a long term solution, and then will require the extraction of weak metal screws from the brick mail box or live with two unsightly screw shafts visible on the side of the mailbox.
