Look Mom, No Cords
I read other reviews of issues with this unit. I previously owned a plug to phone unit that shorted out. I turned to this unit for ease of use, but was apprehensive.Delivery was on time and packaging was protective. I read the instructions and followed them to a T. Everything worked as advertised without exception. Pairing with my S4 was easy and permanent. My suggestion is that you turn your phone off first and reboot before you start. Ialso read of cassette deck issues which showed up on my previous (different) device. No issues there. I regularly clean the deck with a cassette designed for that use. I noticed a slight (10%) lowering of sound amplication but this was not a deal changer. I wish you the same success. One more item. The charger holds advertised power. Ine difference, I don't leave the unit in the vehicle due to the amount of heat and/or cold which could damage the unit. I also charge it at home when blinking led advises recharging. The mictophone has worked w/o issue and I have had no complaints from callers or callees.8/1...So the trick I learned is not to leave this unit in the car during hot or cold days. Unit is working as advertised and as experienced.

Not for me, thank you!
This thing gave me more problems then solutions after a year of owning it. The bluetooth pairing became so inconsistent that i would have to take and extra 2 minutes just to pair my phone to it. I would have to have my phone forget the device, set it to searchable and then it would work. The talk back mic is a joke, I cut it off after a few weeks. If a call were to interrupt my music and I would answer it then I would have to re-pair the device to my phone using the same sequence I explained earlier. However the absolute biggest issue I had with this thing was charging. There is no way to charge it while it's working. If you need something like this for your car, just get a regular wired cassette adapter and get something like the MPOW bluetooth receiver, that's what I did and I would never go back.

Good, but not perfect
The good:1. A Bluetooth cassette adapter eliminates cords and clutter.2. No static whatsoever, which is more than I can say for ANY corded cassette adapter, regardless of price or quality.3. Sound quality, although there is a slight loss of volume, which is a common issue in any Bluetooth paired device in a car (even when paired directly with a factory radio).4. Relatively easy to pair for the first time.5. The price. The bad:1. The microphone cord is not an ideal setup for front loading tape decks. On some corded cassette adapters, the cord could be rerouted through different sides of the tape to compensate for different tape deck setups. Getting the tape in and out of my front loading tape deck was awkward and aggravating. Within 5 uses, the cord became stripped, so I just cut it. Judging by some of the harsh criticism of the call quality, it sounds like I'm not missing much.2. It doesn't automatically repair with my phone. I have to do this every time I get in and out of the car, which is annoying. What's worse is that lately when I've attempted to pair it again after the connection has been temporarily broken, I've had mixed success. Sometimes when repairing it, the connection is so bad, I have to erase the device from my phone and start from square one, which is beyond frustrating.I cannot comment on battery life because I use this tape in my weekend car. It's supposed to last 6 hours on one charge, but the longest I've ever used it after being charged is about two hours. I did notice once that when I left my car without shutting it off, I *think* it powered itself off. If I'm right about that, then it's an excellent feature.Overall, for $40, it's pretty good for what it is. I'll hang on to it until something better comes along.

Works relatively well, once it connects to my phone
I read a lot of reviews before buying this product and many stated having to un-pair and pair every time they wanted to use it. I have not had this problem although it can be very slow to connect. I found after turning the adapter on, it can take up to 2 minutes to connect to my phone (LG G2). During that time, if I look at the connection on the phone and try to force the connection from there, that rarely works and may even conflict with the adapter's attempts to connect (one time it took 20 minutes to connect trying it that way)Also, the power button must be held for about 8 seconds to power it on, not 3 seconds as instructed in the 1 page instruction sheet.I have found that once connected, the sound is not bad for the mids and highs but the low end response is not very good (as compared to the $10 wired cassette adapter I was using)The battery life is pretty good; it lasts about 1 week when using it 2 times each day for about 20-30 minutes each time.I would recommend this product for those that are in the car for longer periods of time; the reconnect issue would be painful for those who are in and out of the car frequently. If the reconnect issue could be addressed so it worked as quickly and consistently as a standard bluetooth headset, I would have rated this at 4 stars. If it also had better bass response I would have given it 5 stars.

I would not recommend!!
Despite the satisfactory with the seller, The product itself makes a horrible cracking sound. I know it's not the speaker because with radio and another connective device it does not make that horrible loud crackling noise when I play music through them. It also only last for 7 hours before you have to recharge it. And don't forget to take it out of the deck and turn it off before you get out of the car, or you will have no charge left by the time you get back in. And you can't connect your device to it while it's charging in the car. Bummer. There has been a couple times when it tries to reverse the track by itself it keeps constantly reversing it back and forth for about a couple minutes. The connectivity has gone out in the middle of playing music which is annoying. And if it hasn't been connected to my iPhone 6 in a couple drives. I often have to sync it again to get it to connect. Overall I wouldn't recommend this product. It needs a lot of fixing.
