Continental Electrics CE23691 CORDLESS 1.6 LT Jug Kettle

Disapppinted when I opened the box. Was supposed to be 1.7 liter, but was More like .7 liter, too small and heating coils are exposed to the water. I am returning It, replaced with the T-Fal model. Shipments and delivery was exellent!

I always wanted something that would make enough hot water for my daily tea drinking, plus have enough capacity for when I have guests. This kettle does both very well. The water heats quickly and pours without dripping. The price is very reasonable. I have used this for several months and I have not had any problems.

I think the kettle is great, but my mom is 93 and has a hard time lifting it when it's full of water. Otherwise I'd highly recommend it and for anyone with normal "strength" it should not be a problem.

product started having problems with coming on when put on the base...After a year it totally gave out...Won't be purchasing this product again....

Buy another one, there are much better kettles out there

Heats fast, looks good on counter. The one I have does not sit perfectly level but that does not prevent it from being usuable.

first of all the 'list' price and 'our' price are suspicious, as they are listed much cheaper, here, and several other places: [...] I do own this kettle, it works great, but the water smells intensely of plastic after boiling. Which also caused me to stop using it after I learned of the bisphenol A concern going 'round the net. does anyone know what kind of plastic the kettle is made of, or if we have any reason to believe it's safe?
