This product was better than I expected. It was a little heavier than I though, but I am guessing that is because there is more steel in the product. Other kitchen scissors might have thin blades reinforced by plastic. Also, other scissors might have steel that only goes partially into the plastic handle; which makes it easier to break the handles off.I have not broken this product to see how far the steel goes into the handle, but it sure feels like it goes in deep based on the weight. It is thicker than I thought, but it is sturdy. It was very sharp, but I only had it for a month. It surely does feel like it can last a long time. For now, I have no reason to give it any less than 5 stars. And the bonus peeler was pretty nice too.

Not very pleased with these shears. They are truly very sharp. That is a plus. However; the blade are short and the bone cutting feature makes them even shorter. My biggest complaint is the come apart feature. While this is great for cleaning, the screw tends to loosen when they are in use. This means the cutting capability is compromised. I've had to stop and tighten the screw before finishing my task. This is very aggravating. Can not recommend these as a good buy.

That moment when you lose the kitchen scissors and order this. Then you find the original scissors!

These are heavy duty scissors but they don't cut very well. Also, there is an indented area on the blad (not sure what it is for) so you can't use the entire blade when cutting because the indent prevents this. I seldom use them.

Shears aare great. I wish they were easier to take apart to clean but otherwise very functional. The peeler is great! I didn't want to order this but it works better than my conventional peeler so is a bonus.

Really heavy duty but thick and doesn't cut well.

Too heavy and too dull. Would get stuck in the middle of cutting and I had a hard time getting it unstuck and here I am a 200 pound guy! Mine did not work for carrots and other vegetables. Perhaps they sent me a bad one by accident.
