India TreeChocolate Vermicelli, 5.6 oz (Pack of 3)

I purchased India Tree Chocolate Vermicelli because I was already familiar with this brand's sprinkles and icing sugars and knew that they used natural dyes instead of artificial food dyes in their products. These Chocolate Vermicelli are simply fantastic! They are crisp and fresh, and rich in color and chocolate flavor. I've used them to decorate chocolate cakes, sprinkled on top of ice cream and sprinkled over cappuccinos, lattes, and espressos as a delicious finishing touch. I store them in a sealed glass jar in the pantry and they remain fresh and tasty but are long gone before their expiration date. Keep them away from children as they will devour them before you get a chance to use them! Grade A!

I was dying to make old-world rum balls, even procured true Austrian rum (there is no substitute for culinary purposes), for family Christmas 2018. Wanted to roll them in true chocolate vermicelli, and the high-end stuff from France and Belgium required a large, wholesale quantity purchase. After much vetting, I finally settled on this product. I rolled the finished balls in the vermicelli and placed them in frilly mini-muffin cups.The rum balls were such a hit, I had several compliments (and a few orders!). These jimmies are so good, you can eat them on your own. Only small issue was the way these are sealed under the lid - a bit of spillage so I just put the container in a small bowl to collect the fall-out. And then poured the extra right down the gullet!

First the description says pack of two however I only received (1) 5.6oz container of chocolate vermicelli. Second the light color of the item leads me to believe these were improperly stored and affected the quality of the product. I have local cheap brand of chocolate sprinkles so you can see how light the product is. I've purchased these in my local Whole Foods however its about 45 minute drive for me so I don't get there as much as I would like. The expiration stamp shows June of 2022 so I don't believe they were expired but likely left in the heat. Normally Indra Tree has a great product but I'm not sure what happened to these specifically.

We use this on ice cream and for decorating cupcakes and cookies; but would also be delicious atop a coffee drink.The delicate size of these chocolate vermicelli make your frosted baked goods look elegant and mouthwatering. They look as rich as they taste. Ive waited a long time to find a topping like this.I would recommend keeping this refrigerated.

This is a delicious. These are made with real chocolate. They are delicate and taste really good. In the past the Belgian brand used to have a chocolate milk version of these sprinkles., but I can't find it anymore. So I am very happy that I decided to give these a try. I will buying again for sure! I will try to upload a photo next time I make truffles.

I love chocolate sprinkles but they have to be thin like these & I was so excited to find them online because none of the stores have the vermicelli size so I ordered them but when they arrived the product was questionable old or effected by the Texas heat. Anyways I notified the company and they shipped out another order and they were perfect and very good. Thank you for being so prompt! Will buy again once I gobble up these.

There is such a difference with using real chocolate sprinkles like these. Especially if you are making brigidero's. These did not dissapoint

When I ordered this item, I expected a rich, smooth texture for the vermicelli. What I received was dry, flakey, and a lot lighter in color than what is depicted in the item picture. I checked for an expiration date, thinking that perhaps the product was expired, but couldn't even find an expiration date. Aren't food items supposed to have expiration dates? Anyhow, I threw away this item because I was so disappointed. I'll be calling my local bake shop to ask where they purchase their vermicelli for the future.I gave it two stars because I suppose this may be the intended flavor and texture of the item. It is still better than the waxy fake jimmies that are sold at normal grocery stores.
