I bought this less expensive charger as a second unit for my motorcycles and found it to work as well as the more expensive Optimate 4 Dual program charger.

Easy to use
Just hook it up and it does the rest. I have an 05 convertible that I don’t drive in the winter. Battery was run down and car would not start. After charging the battery for a few hours it started and now is just keeping battery trickle charged.

Good for maintaining batteries that are or aren't used often, the automatic mode is great as it takes the guesswork out of it all. I keep this on my ATV and it keeps the battery in float mode which is 13.5V. I believe this puts out 0.6 amps which is plenty for a trickle charge.
