We don't have space for a full drum set so this is a good alternative and a lot quieter. My son is so happy with it and is practicing every day

reviewed quite a few pads before choosing this one. Good choice. The quality is excellent and the pad at 12inches exactly what I wanted. Cannot comment on durability yet as only used once but very pleased with the double sided pad. It gives a nice spread of stick reaction depending on the rudiments being practiced.The stand is well designed and gives a selection of height and angle to suit every method. Based on this I would certainly recommend.

Nothing missing, no smells, easy to assemble and does not slip.Drum sticks are perhaps a little light

Wow! Mrs Hood couldn't be happier with this drum. All day long she hits it and makes a beautiful noise. Now we think we might buy a guitar for her friend Mrs Campbell who lives down the road and they can make a lot of noise together. Lovely!! Thank You!

Pleased with product for practice needs.

My son really loves it! It helps him practice without the noise of real drums. The sturdiness is ok, could be better as needs to be adjusted now and then but the main issue is the smell! It smells of the material/ rubber its made off and unfortunately 4 weeks later the smell didn't dissappear.

Very cheep materials used for the pad and it has a very strong stink like epoxy resin.Very cheep materials used for the stand. It’s very flimsy.The sticks are so cheep and light they are unusable.The only people who would think this is okay are complete beginners or someone who has bought it for a present for a kid.

This is an impressive item; a double sided 11" octagonal practice pad with a snare drum stand and drumsticks; the pad is good quality, solid and does the job, offering good response and bounce.The stand is a really solid, heavy and stable piece of kit; it's fully adjustable and the clamp that holds the pad can be tightened all the way or left a little loose depending on one's preference; the angle of the pad is adjustable, as is the height.The only thing that - for me, anyway - let the kit down was the sticks; the pair I received were not too well finished (the wood was a bit rough) and could have done with a coat of varnish. They were also a bit light for me – I used a heavier pair of my own to test the pad out.My cousin is a professional standard drummer, so I've tried out a few practice pads before – this seems to be a very good item for the money.I'm really quite pleased with it; I'm working on my rudiments – paradiddles, ruffs – and that all-important double-stroke roll!
