Samsung DC64-00519B Washer Door Lock Switch

My washer door wouldn’t lock. Bought this and saved myself the hassle and money of trying to find someone to fix it. Easy fix and cheap. Fit perfectly and I’ve had no issues since. Great quality like it came straight from the manufacturer!

Exactly the right part for my washer thanks to the list of compatible model numbers. It was a fairly easy replacement, that I was able to do as a single woman without a lot of experience in these things. Putting in this part was easy; getting the spring back around the gasket was a struggle, but nothing needle nosed pliers and a flat head screw driver didn't finally fix...and a little persistence on my part. If you have two people that might be easier but wasn't an option here, so got the job done and saved so much money. Washer is working properly again!

Got it to replace the one on my Samsung washer. Of course my washer’s protection plan ends and 6 months later the door won’t lock. Google told me the problem and the solution. Amazon had the product and 2 days later my washing machine was functioning again! It was easy to install (thanks to YouTube) and I avoided a repair bill that would have set me back a couple of hundred bucks

Can't believe a service company wanted $450 to replace this washing machine door lock. I did it myself less than an hour. That was about three years ago. Still work fine.

We order the part and it was not packed well so by tge time we open the box a small plastic part was broken we had to shipped it back and order a new part again .. This time the part was pack well and we had nothing to complain about it was easy to install and i am so happy my washer door locks again, hopefully i wont have to change parts anymore but after all i was very satisfied they had the part and the price was great !

My front load washer door latch broke, Samsung no service my rural area, called Sears Home Repair. $ 120 to come out to evaluate, tech ordered this part & told me $ 98 for part and $ 195 to install. i watched him, took 10 minutes.3 months & 1 week later it broke, Sears told me warranty only good for 3 months, wanted to send tech out to evaluate again, total be same price. I looked this part up, bought her for like $ 19, installed myself .. working beautifully

My Samsung WF350ANW/XAA front load washer door lock mechanism was completely busted up. The mechanism locked itself with the door open, so then we attempted to force the door shut, resulting in a completely broken mechanism. I believe it was on its way out anyway. I started sweating the service bill for having this repaired, I'm sure at least $200. But then turned to google and quickly found that this is a common failure in front loaders, and found several youtube videos that showed how to remove the rubber boot to gain access to the lock mechanism. Then its simply removing a few screws (3 for my Samsung) and unplugging the wiring harness (3 connectors), and the reverse to install the replacement. Took about 15 minutes total for removal and replacement. This part is apparently compatible with DC34-00024B which is the one that came out of the washer. They looked slightly different, but all the important stuff such as the door close button, locking mechanism and wiring connectors were identical. Sure enough it fit just fine and is operating fine as well. I ordered the part from Virginia Service Supply with 1 day shipping. It arrived quickly and was packaged well, in bubble wrap, in a sealed envelope and in a box with air cushions. Local appliance parts store wanted about $80 for this part.
