This G & F Kevlar 18-inch Knit Sleeve with Thumb Slot - Yellow - 1 each, is relatively inexpensive to purchase and will provide some protection from cuts and scrapes if worn. It is not uncomfortable or too itchy so you may actually put it on to get the benefit of it's protection. I plan to wear them on my calves and shins when I fish. If a small shark or a sting ray nails my lower leg, I may come away with a much less serious injury. Wish I could have purchased a pair of long john bottoms made of this same material, then that would be my swim trunks while fishing from now on!

I love these arm covers when I'm outside trimming bushes. The bushes give me a terrible rash if I don't use these arm covers. They're soft and comfortable and protect from harsh plants. I highly recommend these if you're allergic to certain plants. I wear my gardening gloves over these, and it's perfect my needs!

I contacted Amazon about this and they said they do not know why there is a picture of two sleeves up here and guess what i thought i was getting two sleeves for the price of 1 but i am a fool b/c i only rec'd 1 sleeve. How is someone suppose to not get cut with rose thornes when landscaping if they only have one sleeve. This is false advertising in my opinion. The rep told me i could return it but guess what my hubby wants to try it out so hopefully it will work and i will buy the 6 pack for the price of 3 of these. This is crazy just please know you are only getting one sleeve not 2. I will rate this again once my hubby has tried it out on bushes. He did try to cut himself with a knife and it does not go through but he could still felt it. Not sure how this will hold up either.

It works!The price is good, the quality is high, and it fits perfectly, and it's washable.I'd recommend it to anyone.I use this for gardening. My husband had bought me one for Christmas (without a thumbhole) and that one's done wonders for protecting me from the very aggressive rosebush - not to mention the poison ivy and other irritating plants in the woods that surround my yard. (I ALWAYS seem to break out after gardening.) I'd recommend it for anyone who gardens or needs any kind of arm protection.I decided I wanted a second one (Husband thought it was a two-pack.)It may also help me when I clip the cats' claws.... I'll have to find out.

Hurriedly I ordered this product not realizing that it was only one sleeve. I have since ordered the economical package of 6 sleeves in the 22.00 range. I had used the single sleeve in the meantime and was very impressed with the protection to my arm while working in the yard (I have agave beds). I am an average boned 5'1" female and the sleeve fit wonderfully. I appreciate the thumb hole as it assures not having the material roll upwards as I put on hand gloves. While I have only used the sleeve working outdoors it's lightweight enough that I will use it in the house when necessary.If you require two sleeves look at the 6 sleeve package which is a cost savings overall.

I purchased this originally for a handicapped person who wears hand splints, but I think they are too long and bulky for him. I like the suggeston of using when pruning roses to protect arms so i may use it for that. Thought I was ordering a pair, and was surprised to receive just one. I guess I just assumed they were sold in pairs. I would prefer a different color. The yellow is really bright yellow. Haven't washed yet to see if it wll shrink.

Why I purchased this productI have very sensitive skin but I love gardening and my arms have been breaking out while gardening. I combine these with leather gloves over the top and I haven't had issues since.These are really comfortable and easily go up a little past my elbow (I am a female with really long arms) They don't seem to slide down that easily. I'm surprised they worked so well as it just looks like regular fabric. I'm sure they will be perfect for pruning my roses or picking blackberries too!

I would have given this a better rating if it fit. You have to be able to put it on for it to work. The arm hole, for the top of the arm, was so small, my hand barely went thru it. I finally cut into the banding material and slide it up my arm. After that, it fit perfectly. It worked well for me while I was cutting back a palm tree in the yard. The skin on my forearms is very thin and normally I bleed profusely working around the palms. This did the job, after the alteration to make it fit.
