Catholic Prayer Book

Nice compact book with prayers for every mood and occasion. Just the thing when you want or need to be alone and collect your thoughts. The book is just the right size and the binding and material seems made to last for a while. Good for inspirational use at home or to take anywhere you may be.

This came in perfect condition and contained all the prayers I wanted in a printed format for memorizing, plus a wonderful amount of other very useful prayers from Saints and Bible inspirations. What I didn't realize at the time I ordered was that this was a large print volume. So awesome for my aging eyes! I'd have been happy with a regular print version and just needed to use my stronger 'readers' but this volume is so easy on my eyes that I don't have to hunt down my strongest glasses to work on my memorizations.

This has all the essential prayers and then some (the Mass prayers, Rosary, Angelic, Everyday, Special occasion prayers/petitions, a few psalms, prayers of some saints, act of contrition, etc.). Simply AWESOME! It's small and easily fits in a normal size pocket, yet is easy to read. The cover has a thin waxy-plastic-like finish to it which is nice and saves on normal wear and tear (not waterproof). I accidently washed my first one but I loved it so much I bought another one. I have it tabbed out and marked, dog eared. It is so handy. I will buy another to have on hand in case something happens to the one I have. So much in one little book! If I could buy a million copies I would put them in churches everywhere!

Absolutely excellent!This tiny thing is chock FULL of prayers. It’s mind blowing how much is in here, and the things I was looking for, the basics mainly just to be able to reference, also the litany of Laredo, Regina Caeli, multiple prayers from St Thomas Aquinas, tons of other prayers of saints. I didn’t see the divine mercy chaplet which made me sad, but I have it memorized and hand written elsewhere. Despite that it has everything else and I’m sure it’s probably in here I just missed it when I skimmed through. Good quality too, seems pretty sturdy, card stock cover so it’ll probably wear easily maybe get a few to have a fresh one when one inevitably falls apart. Well typed everything is easy to read, and is well labeled.And as it shows in my picture has the Imprimatur stamp on it. This thing is 100% never leaving my pocket. It’s literally that tiny, it and my Rosary fit in my jeans pocket. It’s perfect!

I enjoy reading prayers, and look to God for strength. This prayer book covers all the basics as well as special prayers and all Catholic holidays.

This book has all the prayers that I learned during my Catholic education and wanted to remember and pray again, like the St Francis prayer and the prayer to St. Michael the Archangel. There are also some much needed new ones, like the "St. Lucy Novena for Eyes," (I really need this one) and "Prayer for Friends" (as in asking for blessings on the people we love). Content includes litanies, the "Divine Praises," and basics of the Catholic faith (like the Sacraments, the Beatitudes, and the Rosary.) The content is logically organized; the index is helpful; and the large type and page size make the book easy to read. It's comprehensive and concise at the same time.

Prayers to help us get through our life. Small enough to keep in my purse.
