Large Salad Spinner with 5.0 Quart Bowl Plus Extra Storage Lid for Convenience. Lettuce Washer Dryer and Keeper

I honestly have NEVER owned a salad spinner before. I just knew I needed it to properly clean and dry my leafy greens. I got this one based on reviews and it is a great little thing. It is simple 5 piece set. You have the clear bowl, the strainer thing, the spin top, and a lid for storing later. PLUS you get a handy little lettuce knife. I personally have not used that yet. The cool thing is you could take the strainer out and use the bowl for other purposes if you needed it! Anything that has multiple purposes makes me happy! . But this spinner bowl dried my leafy greens perfectly and I was able to pop the lid on and put in the fridge for storage. It is a great quality piece. I have no complaints. Plus it is a pretty lime green color! <3

This salad spinner is well built. It has a rubber ring around the bottom of the bowl so that it does not slip while spinning. The basket sits well in the bowl. The centrifugal force does a very good job of drying the lettuce. This item comes with a serrated vegetable knife that comes in handy when cutting up veggies for your salad. It also came with a white lid so that you can keep left over salad fresh. Unfortunately the lid is just a tad too small so it does not stay securely on the bowl. This is the only reason I did not give this spinner a five star rating.

This item works as it was designed to do and very well. I especially enjoy the storage lid so I can just wash the lettuce and store it in he same container. I have used it a couple of times now and find it keeps the lettuce fresh longer than without the storage container. So, I am very satisfied and would recommend it to anyone who uses a lot or a little amount of lettuce.

I have a friend who has one, but it must not be this one. This is very cheaply made. It says it's top rack, dishwasher safe, but the first time I put it in the dishwasher it came out disfigured. So now the lid doesn't fit right and I have to hold it on to spin it. I'm thinking about buying a different one, but I'm nervous because this one got such high reviews. Believe the reviewers that say the lid doesn't fit. If you buy it, don't put it in the dishwasher.

This salad spinner fits a family size amount of salad and is very effective at getting water out. I also use it to get the goop and seeds out of sliced tomatoes. The stopper is effective and it is easy to disassemble and clean.

Why did it take me so long to buy this? I absolutely LOVE this item. It's really good quality and works very well. I highly advise buying this. I use it for drying all sorts of lettuce varieties and all of my herbs after I wash them.

Like the way it works but the bowl part fell off the table and cracked. Way too easy.

This is a nice spinner set (I loved the lid!) and would have filled a hole in my kitchen gadgets had I not unthinkingly put it in the bottom shelf of the dishwasher - duh! It still works but I have to hold it together so it will go into our RV.
