Lutron Diva LED+ Dimmer Switch for Dimmable LED, Halogen and Incandescent Bulbs, 150 Watt, Single-Pole or 3-Way, DVCL-153P-BL, Black

5 of these were installed to control various LED and incandecent lighting in our remodeled kitchen. They all work great. The flying leads makes installation a snap.The only tricky part was if you gang two together right next to each other, the adjacent heat sink tabs have to be removed from both dimmers. I only had two with which I had to do this. The power supported is reduced, but it was not an issue for me. This might be something to double check if you need two of these dimmers together with both controlling a larger load of lights.In another case, I was able to separate the two dimmers with a normal switch, which allowed installation without removing any of the heat sink tabs.

I had to purchase these much more expensive dimmers to replace a full suite of elegrp dimmer switches. The previous brand buzzed and was heard all over the house. These were easily installed and are silent. Wish they had them in matte black vs glossy black I received.

Excellent dimmer IF you use it with the right bulbs. I replaced my incandescent bathroom bulbs with LED bulbs and the Lutron Maestro dimmer that worked fine with the incandescent bulbs would not allow the LED's to turn off. I tried this Diva dimmer and it worked fine.A few caveats aka "Pro/Con"Pro:-Lots of colors to choose from-Durable switch, I've had older versions of this switch in place in high use areas for years-Excellent light control IF you it with the right bulbs. What's the right bulb? I went to the bulb and the Lutron websites and matched the products up and still wound up playing "trial and error"-Attractive appearanceCon:-I don't really have "cons" about the actual switch but I have a LOT of them about Amazon warehouse.-Avoid the temptation to purchase these switches from Amazon warehouse. I know they appear to be a much as 1/2 off or more, but in my experience Amazon Warehouse has about 10% chance of sending a usable switch that's not missing everything from the OEM package.-Amazon Warehouse is batting about .500 in just sending the right switch.-I ordered a Diva dimmer in 2/7/20 for half off - about $13 and when it arrived, they sent me a standard Lutron wall switch, NOT a Diva dimmer. So now I had the joy of packing it back up, dropping it off at a UPS drop box and then waiting 3 more days to finish my switch swap out.-If you want to be sure you're getting the right switch that is new, intact and has all the parts, go to Lowe's or Home Depot

If you've ever connected an LED light to a regular dimmer, you're probably aware of the "flutter" problem. Well, the electronics in these dimmers help even out the current to virtually eliminate fluttering brightness that can be encountered when dimming LEDs. We have replaced almost all of our switches with these and now have consistent dimming throughout the house. One word of warning- since these are not your typical "old school" dimmers, they can be a bit delicate. A brief short during an install was all it took to kill one of ours.

I had installed new corn Cobb led bulbs and my old dimmer was not up to the task. It dimmed the bulbs correctly however they would glow when turned off. Read a couple of reviews and 24 hours later they now shut off completely with this dimmer switch.Perfect product for me!

Starts the 20w led bulbs at very low dimmed level but after 10 minutes at full on, lights flicker. Adjusted many increments to try to eliminate flickering but it didn’t help.

This model works well with LED bulbs, turning them on dimly when that is desired, and not causing buzzing noise. It also works when a neutral wire is not present. Some other cheaper units don't work at all without a neutral. It seems a little pricy, especially for colours other than white, but it is available for a higher price most everywhere else. I couldn't find a cheaper unit that would do that job, so this was a good purchase for me.

I previously bought three white ones from Amazon. We are slowly migrating to LED lighting. Good clear instructions and easy to install. Highly recommended.
