Jugglebug - ST005 JuggleBug Juggling Clubs, 18 Inches, Set of 3

I was surprised at first by how small these seemed when I got them out of the box, but I've gotta say... from the first second you throw one of 'em, it makes for a very satisfying juggling experience. Great weight, great center of balance, the soft material coating the whole club is nice and grippy without being tacky. With the slightly smaller size and thinner profile, you have the ability to get things moving a little quicker (right in front of you!) and it never feels unpredictable or unwieldy at all. The base of the handle is a plastic knob like many of the clubs in this price range, but it's inset far enough that you're unlikely to peg yourself with a hard edge of plastic if something goes out of control. (This is a big deal for learners.)It feels kind of dorky leaving a glowing review for juggling toys, but — man, I really like these clubs, especially coming from some of the larger plastic hollow-bodied ones I started with. Those big plastic pins are great for first-learning, but they're a bit bigger and proportionally lighter, which ultimately makes them slow spinners (good!) and fairly susceptible to any bit of wind (frustrating!). They also have the hard knobby ends, which I've already mentioned makes for a considerable thwack on the knuckle if you make a mistake — not to mention, a handle with a smooth (taped) surface makes for a fairly slidey catch operation if your hands are particularly dry or dusty.All of those semi-issues are totally sidestepped with these clubs. They feel great; easy catch, nice spin, very portable, and somehow a bit more "discrete"-looking than the bigger bowling-pin clubs you can find, which can feel a bit conspicuous if you're not actively juggling them. Maybe I'll find items of bother as I continue to use these, but for now, I'm incredibly happy with my $20 purchase. Nothing fancy, no wizardry; just a solid product that I enjoyed right out of the box.

They are durable. Had these for years. My son and his friends throw them around the house, and they are still in great shape. Takes dedication to actually juggle these, and a very high ceiling in a room with no breakable objects or I would recommend heading outside to practice. No one has been able to actually juggle three, but no one has tried very hard. Certainly possible. The boys use them in all sorts of other imaginative ways for obstacle courses or even a pretend microphone or just to throw them at each other.

I've been learning how to juggle and these are good. They are soft but sturdy and have a good weight. My hands are small so the handle size is good for me.

Great fun. These juggling clubs are fun for both my son (age 5) and myself (age 70). Leaning something new keeps your mind alive. I chose these as something fun to learn and, assuming I gain proficiency, looks to be fun to do. We are far from expert but they are great fun so far, but the skills are not so difficult to make learning to juggle a chore. A high density foam covering helps keep them and the playroom from getting chipped and damaged. Well made at an affordable price. Recommended for the young at heart!

I bought these Juggling Clubs for my 9 year old granddaughter birthday as part of a juggling package of clubs, balls, sacs, scarves, book, DVD ... all from Amazon. They are soft but are full size ... so at least if she knocks herself in the head, it won't hurt. I thought of this because when I was visiting with her earlier, she wanted me to watch her try to juggle some tangerines. Therefore, an instruction book was important. I mentioned in another review on Amazon that I read that juggling makes you smarter and can improve coordination. Do a little research of your own and it is amazing how many people across this nation are juggling! So order some for yourself and the other kids and grownup in your circle!

Vibrant colors, well constructed, nice balance.My daughter is just beginning to learn to juggle and these are perfect for her.I highly recommend these batons.

I bought these for my husband who has been able to juggle for years and decided to learn how to juggle clubs. He picked it up super quick. However, I just learned how to juggle a month or so ago, these definitely aren’t for beginners! Haha. They seem very durable though!

We bought these for my 15year old. He is a beginner and was catching on quick to juggling. He was able to have success with these clubs quickly. And they didn’t break the bank (or items in the house!...yet)
