PondKraft Pond liner - 25 Year Guarantee (3.0m x 2.5m)

I returned a pond liner by another leading brand because the quality of the packaging was terrible and arrive damaged. Even though this was more expensive, it was worth it and superb value for what you get. I did my pond liner on a hot day so the liner was very easy to manipulate. My pond is 1.25 metre square and 85cm deep and the 3m by 3m was a perfect fit with plenty left over. I feel very confident it will last until my next pond upgrade. Arrived quickly was packaged well. You get what you pay for whilst this material is a cheaper choice then butyl liner, it really is the next best!

I installed this liner very carefully, placing a sand base initially, then a layer of geotextile and then the liner. The first time I filled it with water I realised there was gradual drop in level until the pump eventually stopped due to drying out. I now have to waste my time and more expense on something more robust. Not impressed.

Brilliant it's the second one I've bought

Needed this to replace a liner that was leaking half way up.I always lay these out in the sun first and they get far more maleable and much easier to lay.Seems pretty durable, but time will tell. No leaks so far (fingers crossed).It does have a black side and a brown side. I've only used black liners before and was tempted to go brown this time. I chickened out and went black...... for what it's worth - my poind is currently green and I can only see my koi at feeding time ! Need to sort it out.

I'm very pleased with the liner. It seems reasonably substantial and yet not difficult to manipulate it to the shape of the pond. I would have given five stars but for the fact that the website doesn't seem to point out anywhere that you must also install a liner for the 25 year guarantee to apply.
