This tool is awesome, the belt clip is pretty tight with thick belts. This set up works because it keeps the line taunt causing less key clink when attached to the belt loop W/ the main body 2 to 4 inches away. & with 20 keys it retracts and doesn’t dangle; makes me feel confident in this purchase😎 will buy another without doubt.

Been using for a month and a half. While im locking up my bike i stick the key in and use the Gear Keeper to hold my bike lock... Its that strong... Its just bulky. The set and forget nature of how well it performs the job for use as a keychain retractor makes up for how bulky it is. it is however the bulkiest item in my EDC kit its VERY bulky. Mine holds 10 keys and a brass extra container of lighter fluid for my trench lighter and literally retracts as though there was nothing attached.

The media could not be loaded.  Best key retractor yet. The swivel is really helpful. I use it so much at work. I have several keys,my time card, and my work I D on it. Alway retracts back 100 percent. When I pull it to use keys or my I D you can feel the toughness to unwind. Overall a great product worth the 30bucks.

This is the 3rd retracting key holder I've purchased and this is the winner. My husband uses this key retractor EVERY day to hold about 18 keys and a garage door fob. The constant pulling/retracting of the Kevlar cord several times a day (every day) hasn't affected it. The other 2 "heavy duty" retractors I bought had great reviews but couldn't keep up and ended up breaking soon after purchasing. Several months later, this is still working great. Would buy again for sure and definitely recommend!

buckle breaks after a few pulls of key string.

This is the second one I have had. The first lasted over 5 years with daily use with delivery truck door keys attached, being pulled out and retracted for well over 50 stops a day. The old style metal chain ones never lasted over a month. Great product

Bartender for 5 years I used to keep my bottle opener in my back pocket but it eventually wore a hole in my back pocket. Used this instead to clip onto the side of my black yoga pants. Great range, opener always pulls back doesn't get stuck great product and convenient I even keep the liquor key attached too

Got tired of buying the cheap ones every month. Love this one.

ich fand das branding erst etwas verdächtig, es scheint aber ein original "gearKeeper" zu sein.die verarbeitung ist jedenfalls den konkurrenzprodukten zB. von keybak mindestens ebenbürtig, "rustikal, aber solide"durch den clip trägt das ganze schon etwas arg auf, dafür ist es abera) nicht unbeabsichtigt abzustreifen (wie die meisten keyBak)b) mit etwas übung und behutsamkeit leicht "umzukoppeln"perfekt!
