If you're short -- or very short-waisted (I'm both), this is a much better exercise ball! I'm only 4'10" and the next size up just doesn't allow me to do the stretching that I need to do.

I’ve had this therapy ball for a few years now, and I’m still impressed with how well it’s held up. The material is super durable—no signs of wear, and it’s never lost air or gone misshapen. I use it regularly on the floor for back stretches, and it also doubles as my computer chair (which has really helped with posture and core strength). One of the things I appreciated most when I first got it was that it came with an exercise chart—perfect for getting started—as well as a spare plug and plug remover, which was such a thoughtful bonus. I get these for my 2 boston terriers. They LOVE them! play with them like circus seals. Very durable and take toenail scratches without damage. I did have to cut the top flat part of the plug off so they couldn't bite it and remove it (seems to be my Sophie's favorite game) They stay inflated well. My dogs have a ton of fun with them. They usually last us a couple of years before we have to replace them.

You need your own pump and the process is tricky, measuring space between a wall and a chair and inflating the ball between the 2 objects. The plastic piece for inflation bent while I was trying to inflate the ball. Great! Far superior to my last one which had a tacky surface. Would definitely recommend the Theraband.

Although this is a good sturdy ball, it is much too small for most adults 5'1" to 5'6". It does not inflate to 55cm. When sitting on the ball, your knees should be bent at 90's, like sitting in a chair. I am 5'6 and when I sat on this ball my knees were up to my chest.
