Huawei P40 Pro 5G ELS-NX9 256GB 8GB RAM Without Google Play International Version - Silver Frost

This phone is the best I have ever owned. It is a little less intuitive to set up, possibly due to restrictions, but ultimately that was not a problem. It is sold without google, which is why I bought it. Since I don't play games, watch movies, or listen to music on it, those apps, which are included, don't interest me. Almost all of the apps I did use on my old phone are available through Huawei. The replacement for Maps, in my opinion, is better. I can get to my banks through the web browser until those apps become available.I'm giving this 4 starts instead of 5 because Celia, the voice assistant, is not yet avaiable, and because the plug did not come with an adaptor. I found no mention of this on Amazon. (Did I miss it?) There are probably several reasons for this, but since I did not know about, it meant I could not use the phone's rapid charger until I ordered the adaptor, which, had I known, I could have done when I ordered the phone. Time and expense wasted, but does not detract from an excellent phone.Update: Celia, the voice assistant is now available. This remains the best cellphone I have ever owned.

I bought Huawei P40 Pro 5G ELS-NX9 256GB 8GB RAM International Version - Silver Frost from Amazon in late Feb. Activated it 2 weeks ago by transforming the SIM card from my Samsung Notes phone, with AT&T family bundle plan. I was worried about the compatibility and lack of Google Play Store, Android, GMAP GPS ... Yes, they are not embedded, but HMS works fine. Here-We-go can be download free for GPS function, feel no difference. All my other data base, Apps, Wifi, WeChat, Gmail, .. all available intact. Photo quality is super. Human-device interface, finger print log in function, .. are nicer and easier. No issues so far. I'm happy with the price and quality. Haven't try 5G because our area is not covered yet.

I waited months before doing a review. I take more pictures now than ever before as the camera is great! Phone reception is good. Cloning was easy. I seldom used Google so I do not miss it. Petal Search is as least as good. (IMO). It is quick and responsive. Initially, I had a problem with fingerprint ID. I think it might have been how I was placing my finger. I have nothing bad to say about this phone

This phone is fast and packed with technology. Unfortunately, the stupid trade war restricted some google features making it clumsy with many functions we take for granted here in the US. I look forward to better relations with China with 2 way trade becoming the norm not the exception.

Batter life is way better on my p30 pro overall same camara, maybe even better on my p30 pro... Upset with the phone which I can't even return.

This dies not come with even a simple plastic case!

This is a great phone, probably has the best camera on the market right now. Yes, it doesn’t come with google service, but there are plenty of YouTube videos on how to install it. Battery life is awesome and it gets charged very fast. I use AT&T, and the phone works perfectly in U.S.

The phone is just like I had imagined, but I the seller was great as he also included a US adapter for the charger since the charger is international. Oh and inside the box Huawei has included a transparent plastic cover.
