Q: What is the recommended motor size. Someone in the reviews mention a motor problem

Not saying the short shaft won’t work if setup properly, but based on the dimensions of the boat and the engine manufacturer’s recommendations, we went with the long shaft and have had zero problems with cavitation. I would also say use a minimum of 20 hp to get reasonable performance……. The 10 hp we already had was not enough to get it out of the water with more than one person and the cost between a 10 and 20 is not that much if purchasing an engine anyway.

Bris needs to register this brand with the USCG or if not they will register this as homemade. happened to me this week in Florida.

Legally you could have 9 people in there, but there’s physical not enough room for that many. More around 5 or 6 max would be a realist number.
