Great and high quality cable with a convenient locking mechanism. The base of the cable with the logo has a slide mechanism that unlocks the latch that keeps the cable locked which is a great design for HDMI that usually does not have a locking mechanism. Great quality and I always appreciate that they actually get their cables certified!

I recently upgraded my cable from basic and now have a cable box connected to my Sony Bravia Google TV. The cable company connected my TV using an HDMI cable. It was so frustrating because I would continually loose connection. Sometimes just reseting the input would work. Sometimes I could turn off my TV and turn it back on and it would connect (but I have my internet enabled TV set to a slow start up to preserve energy). If those two options didn't work then I would try unplugging and replugging the HDMI cable, if that didn't work I would replug the cable into one of my other 4 HDMI ports. I spent more time fiddling with that darn cable then watching my shows.I started doing some research and decided to spend a couple dollars and try a locking cable and this looked like the best deal (quality at a fair price). I am happy to report that it has been a couple months and I have not had to fiddle with my cable once since installing this locking HDMI cable!Update: Because I had such success with my first Accell locking cable I purchased a second one. My roomate purchased a new flat screen tv on Black Friday and needed an hdmi cable to hook up the Roku. She tried a traditional hdmi cord (she purchased locally), but we kept loosing connection every couple minutes, so I said heck with this and ordered another Accell locking cable. It was shipped quickly and in a couple days we had connection and haven't had a problem since.

I purchased two ten foot cables. The plug doesn’t lock to the port any better than a normal hdmi cable. Their website doesnt provide a phone number for technical support but a web search shows it as 510-438-9288. I called that number and chose technical support. I then got a recorded message indicating that extension is not available. Their website provides an email link for eventual support but I would like to speak with someone now. Given how their plugs ‘lock’, i am not surprised by their evasiveness. A waste of money.

Great product quality and build, but did not work for a needed self-amplified High Speed HDMI cable. I wanted to protect and improved the connectivity of my LG Cinema 3D D2342 monitor (a great 3D monitor) which has a downward-pointing HDMI female port - I found that it didn't take much to have an HDMI cord fall out from that port. I needed to use a 60 foot one-way (source-to-display) self-amplified Redmere High-Speed HDMI for 3D viewing, but the Accell pigtail wouldn't pass the video signal. Apparently, the embedded Redmere signal amplification chip draws its power from the Display end - the same end where I needed the locking Accell HDMI port protector to be - but the power didn't get passed from the display to the Redmere cable. Ended up looping the Redmere cord against the monitor stand to offset the weight of the long Redmere cable and to keep its HDMI plug from slipping out.

I received the cable today and although it's made of quality material plus the locking mechanism works. It will not, however lock in the the hdmi port on my old dell monitor but locks into the ports that support it. I ended up using a dvi to hdmi adaptor on a dvi port on my monitor and plugged into it so the cable could be secured and not fall out.

May be it is good for blue-ray player but it is not for camcorder combine with external video recorder

We kept getting glitches in our TV signal from our old HDMI cable and I'd have to keep playing with it (after figuring out it was the HDMI cable, which itself took a long time to diagnose since the glitches were so random). We bought this and not a single problem since. It's simply awesome. Holds tight and doesn't move or jiggle around at all.

The locking hdmi cable worked perfectly on my 2007 Panasonic plasma HD TV. My previous cable was loose and the picture kept flipping on and off. Since using the new cable I've had no more problems and beautiful picture and sound

Did not lock quite as well as I had hoped it would especiially on my laptop HDMI port - there are better fitting cables that are not marketed as "locking".

These are easy to useI also like the locking feature good quality will be ordering more in the near future

Perfect product and fast delivery

I've only had this cable for a few days and it works great so far but it doesn't lock into the hdmi ports on my Xbox One. I don't blame the cable as the hdmi ports seem to be recessed more on the Xbox One so the cable has nothing to lock in to but it also doesn't fall out as easily as a standard hdmi cable did. It does lock in to all of my other electronic devices with no problem and the picture quality is acceptable on my 4k 65" led tv. I got a super good price when I bought it so all in all I'm happy with my purchase.
