Great Value!
Great tailbag. Use it on my 2012 V-Strom 650 and before that on my 2021 Africa Twin AS DCT. Fits both bikes easily although I replaced the mounting clips with hooks I bought on Amazon which make mounting and removal much quicker. I use it to carry most of my everyday stuff which keeps weight lower and more secure than rattling around in my top box. Easy zippered in-and-out and expands quickly when I need it. I cut some corrugated plastic to act as a stiffener for the sidewall so it retains its shape even when cinched down tight. Bonus: it acts as a low backrest/lumbar support when needed on those longer rides. The MOLLE on the top allows me to add and remove additional smaller bags for specific purposes. It’s a great versatile, durable, convenient addition to any luggage system, just ask Ian from Big Rock Moto. Like all Rigg Gear a fantastic value for money. Highly recommended.

Great Product
I've tried a few different brands of tail bags and they were all junk. This was my last chance and I was so surprised at the great quality; it far exceeds my expectations! I got the medium size because it can expand if I need extra space, and it's not too big and ugly. It fits super tight and secure on the rack I added to my Honda CRF 300L. It's the same size as the rack with no over hang. I can remove it if I need to add a milk crate for box deliveries, but really, it can stay on all the time. It has D-rings on the sides so you can bungy stuff on top of it, and it has Molly Web for more ways to safely secure things, like extra fuel. It holds plenty of stuff for a day ride; water, snacks, sun glasses, hat, ham radio walkie-talkie, etc. Very well made, perfect for me, your mileage may vary but you can't be disappointed by the build quality.

Great Tail Bag
Nice size and it expands for extra room. I really like the attachment points as the straps can be made short to easily mount to a rear rack. I cannot speak to it being waterproof but I would think it's at least water resistant. Nice tough material. The zippers slide along as they should. the expansion zipper is nicely hidden away but still easily accessible.

My first Nelson Rigg product and I'm sold on the brand.
QUALITY! It's hard to find quality products these days. A lot of times, the more you spend doesn't necessarily mean the quality is going to be any better. Seems like we're all too familiar with that these days. What a refreshing purchase!! I didn't have to spend an arm and a leg to get something of just lackluster quality. I paid a fair price for a quality product that is built to last. As soon as you open the package, you'll know exactly what I'm saying. Just holding this thing, you can feel and see the quality. Once you put it on your motorcycle, you never have to worry about it. It looks great, doesn't EVER come lose (on road or off road), and holds all of my goods securely and with plenty of protection. I am still surprised with how much I can fit in the smallest version of this bag! For a "day bag", it holds everything I need with a bit of room to spare.

Excellent rear bag
It fit my crf300L perfect. This is a good bag that tightens down good, has good zippers, has Molle on the top. I bought a cheaper one before this one and sent the cheap one back. I give this bag a double thumbs up and your good to go if you get this one.

Holds a watermelon… but also enough nylon strap webbing to rappel down the Grand Canyon.
So, I got this bag because I wanted something practical for my Royal Enfield Himalayan. What I didn’t expect was to also receive an excessive amount of dangling nylon strap webbing. Sure, Nelson Rigg includes little elastic keepers so you can tuck the straps in, but unless you enjoy the look of a bundled-up bungee worm colony, it’s not a good aesthetic. I ended up cutting the extra off before it strangled a passing squirrel. Capacity-wise? Impressive. This thing swallowed a full watermelon, two Cokes, and a Pepsi like it was born for a summer picnic. Build quality is solid, zippers are beefy, and it mounts easily. But dear Nelson Rigg, no human needs that much strap unless you’re planning on tying the bag to a moving freight train. Would I buy it again? Yeah. But I’d keep the scissors handy.

Strap this beast to your bike and suddenly you’re not just going for a ride—you’re embarking on a purpose. Holds everything I need: a knife (or three), a survival ration (read: sardines), a Pilot V5 pen, spare socks, a tarp, emotional baggage, and the lingering echo of my former self. Built tough. Water-resistant. Holds up to Canadian backroads, existential dread, and one really poorly executed creek crossing that I swear looked doable until it wasn't. Bonus feature: functions as a mobile memory vault. Every time I unzip it, I half expect to find a monologue I forgot I wrote, a marten skull, and a hand-written map to a cache I buried after a particularly intense Leonard Cohen binge. Only downside? Doesn’t come with a button that says “This is not a phase.” I made one myself. Final verdict: It’s not just a tail bag. It’s a wound kit for the soul. 10/10. Would flee civilization with again.
