Been using these for a while with clothes that aren't new, and they definitely still pick up dyes. I was surprised to see that given how many times the clothes had already been washed over the past few months. I still don't think I'd trust these to pick up all red dye from a new red shirt mixed in with white clothing, but they're definitely removing excess dye in general.

These are fantastic! Our well water is great, but it has a lot of tannin that deposits itself on my clothes. I use two or three of these in each wash, and they come out orangeish brown, so at least that's not being deposited on my clothes. I tested these against the "big brand name" ones, and these worked, while the others were still white when they came out.

I am a quilter and this product has never let me down. Washing fabric either before or after making a quilt with sheets of Color Grabbers is essential to getting rid of excess color and prevents "bleeding". Excellent for pre washing dark & light combinations. Also a must-have for new clothes! Never worry about discolored items again.If in doubt, drop one in any load and you will save your clothes or cherished keepsakes.

Does the job.

I love Carbona. I am a quilter, so catching bleeds is super important to me. I use Carbina on new fabrics to absorb any excess dyes, and then again on my finished quilts. And no scent! Highly recommend.

Works well but need more than one sheet per load

These are so amazing. Stop the color run. Also how much dirt they catch. These are so much better than "Shout" sheets
