Clip made for sheaths pre-fitted with 9/64" grommets almost half the size of regular 1/4" grommets
This clip is a spring steel belt clip that attaches to your sheath, and made for specific sheaths that were pre-fitted with 9/64" grommets no moving parts like a tech Lok and that is something I wondered about when I first started looking at it.it's a strong clip that hangs on very tight and not going to fail and you can mount in 2 positions on pre-fitted sheaths (north or south) ofcoarse you can make it right or left handed and has a small clip or barb on the inside to catch on belt to prevent it from accidentally pulling off your belt and can be difficult to remove from belt due to barb unless you slide it through, but clips onto belt easilyThe included mounting screws are very small and will need a watch size torx (I believe #4 ) bit to fasten and has 4 rubber grommets that mount between clip and sheath for an ⅛" stand off of the sheath surfaceI have had this system hanging upside down for approx a year without a problemI would reccomend !

Better than the standard plastic belt loop
First off, this attaches to the plastic holster included with the knife and is not a separate holster. It will likely be difficult to remove the original and attach this one unless you kept the tiny star head wrench that came with the knife. Luckily I still had mine and switched the clips in a few minutes.I bought this to replace the original because it was ruining my belt by sliding on and off it every day. This clips on easily but can be difficult to remove. That's a good thing if you don't want to lose your knife though! The main clip has a smaller 'reverse' clip inside it which is what keeps it from easily sliding off. The clip appears to made of approx. 1mm thick steel and is quite strong. It has not bent or slipped off even after I clumsily caught it on doorknobs and other protrusions several times. I think it's a great value and an essential accessory for the TDI knife.

Perfect clip
Awesome little clip for the money. It’s sturdy, seems extremely durable (according to the manufacturer it’s made of Aus-8 steel) and is tight enough to hold without ripping your fingernails off when you need to remove it.There are about half a dozen reviews on her whining about the bit size needed for installing this...not sure what kind of “knife nerd” doesn’t have that bit but I’m fairly certain even non knife nerds have a leatherman. The bit needed here is on the bit kit they sell for their multi tools that most of us already own lol. It’s an awesome piece of kit, I’m using it on a boot right now and it’s solid.

Good but could be a little better.
I rather like this metal belt loop bracket. It works great with my Becker Necker (BK 11) The sheath that comes with the BK11 has no way to attach to a belt or anything else, though you could make something out of bank line, 550 cord, or any other cordage with the rivet holes that are around the sheath. but this nice metal attachment works quite well.I especially like the metal plate that catches the backside of the belt so that it can't just come off the belt easily. It's essentially a reversed clip at the bottom that does make it a little harder to get the clip off the belt at the end of the day but it also helps to make sure you wont be loosing your knife because the sheath wasn't able to hold to your belt. A simple but very effective design choice on this clip.Give all these nice things and the fact that it attaches with ease make it a great item but the attachment hardware is lacking a little bit, in my opinion. They provide you with thin screws to go into the Chicago type screws that they provide. Seems like they should put a broader head screw in the kit so that it will not seem like it's going through the hole. Granted they do mount kind of flush and leave it smooth to a degree. I did take a fine file to the reversed clip to make it a little smoother and not able to scratch up my belts as it did at first. So overall, it's pretty good but I think it's quality could be a little better quality.

Keeping in the Ka-Bar Standards.
I bought this clip for my BK14 and was quite please to find this in keeping with the Ka-Bar standards. A very sturdy metal clip that also includes a flange on the inside end of the clip itself to keep it from popping off your belt once it is clipped on. This ensures the clips stays clipped securely and you don't drop your knife and sheath on the floor.PLEASE NOTE:As a side note, and just forewarning to other prospective buyers, the fasteners that come with this require two Torx (star drive) screwdrivers to tighten them down. And they require the smallest possible ones (1/8 and 1/16) which I didn't have (I had a 1/8 but not a 1/16). I had to go out and buy a 1/16 drive just to get this attached to the sheath. So be forewarned.

Ehh
Supposed to be for the TDI, but the screw holes didn’t line up. Tossed it in the trash as it’s not worth the hassle trying to return it. 3 stars because it is a rather nice clip if you can find a TDI it actually fits.

Know what you're buying
I bought this clip to replace the clip on my 2.3" blade TDI plastic sheath. The previous clip eventually bent after 8+ years of almost daily carry. This clip doesn't mount to every TDI sheath, so make sure the one you buy is compatible. Also, be sure to read the notes on what tools you need. I had the correct size torx driver in my electronics toolkit, but it is definitely a specialty too, not found in any of my other 6 tool kits with torx wrenches.Don't over tighten the screws. There's a rubber grommet on each one, so just make it snug. It's not necessary to torque them down to strip them. There's loctite already, so it's a fairly easy job.

Real steel, strong and inexpensive as any.
Bought to modify a $10 sheath (SHE-661210) for ease of on-off. Included Chicago screws improve the sheath's functionally by reinforcing sheath edges through the questionable thread stitching.
