Easy to use
Simple tool, but it worked great. Completed siding on my entire house and this helped. Longer handle makes it user to use, so on the long pieces, your hand doesn't get tired.

Works
Works well for making tabs along top edge of fascia in order to attach it into the undersill trim. It WILL punch all the way through the fascia in thinner spots, leaving a hole, rather than a tab, as stated in other reviews.. I found that it works just as well to use it to make a bump in the fascia, rather than punching all the way through to make a tab. The undersill trim will hold the fascia very firmly with only bumps. I know this because I had to take the fascia back down after installing it.. Was very difficult to remove from undersill trim..

A much needed tool for siding.
I do home repairs. A couple times in the last year I needed to finish the last top row of siding and these allow me to make a slot/bump that locks in the last piece.

I don't know if I did it right, but the siding is still where I put it
I don't know if I did it right or if it had the desired effect, but the siding is still where I put it.

If you are only doing siding once this is what to buy.
Not a pro tool. You can tell by the feel and action. But it does do the job. You have to be careful though, if you punch through hard and quick, or your siding is brittle at all, this will punch am oblong hole instead of a tab that is connected on one side. The tab is supposed to be there to lock piece above.

Worked great! I mean
Worked great! I mean...it is what it is really...but with the mass amount of cut downs I needed to do on this house when I sided it was definitely worth the medial price I paid...much cheaper than at the Chain Stores nearby for the exact same item.

Makes quick and easy tabs to hold up your vinyl.
If you have to put vinyl up under an eve or somewhere where you can't use a full piece, you need to create some kind of tab in it for it to stay up correctly. I had tried using just the bottom lip before but if you have any kind of wind they usually end up falling out. That gets old real quick, especially in areas where you need to get out an extension latter to put them up.This tool makes takes really quick and is super easy to use. No more vinyl on the ground for me.
