Schmidt Colin Thompson Noah's Ark Premium Quality Jigsaw Puzzle (1000 Piece), Multicoloured

Lots of small detail and some similarities in colors and patterns add to the interest of this puzzle, making it both challenging and fun. Pieces don’t fit together as tightly as I’d prefer, but they are sturdy and well-made, and I could tell easily enough when they were placed properly.

First off, you have to get this 'cause it's artwork by Colin Thompson! The details are absolutely fabulous! Once completed you need to go over every square inch to see all the little intricate details and surprises. This particular picture has very little water and sky to complete which is a joy to me. I do have several puzzles from this artist but this is the first 'Schmidt' brand puzzle I've done. Trust me, it won't be the last....... I'd rank this brand higher then a Ravensburger and they are great puzzles! The pieces alone are MUCH thicker and cut precisely. You would probably need both hands to bend these pieces, that's how thick and sturdy they are. It comes in a nice sturdy box in a plastic bag. None of the pieces were already together and very little, if any, dust at all. The picture is high resolution with all the images very distinct. It's printed on a linen like paper that has a nice matte finish with no glare. The pieces fit together tight enough that there is no problem in moving/lifting a large portion.I'll definitely get more of this brand. Even coming from across the 'pond', it didn't take that long.

First of all, Colin Thompson's art never ceases to amaze me! It's just cool and can't be described well enough in words, so treat yourself to one and you'll see. I thought this was perfect to hang in the bathroom with a mirror double. I loved this puzzle so much I have ordered another one just to work and enjoy again. Beautiful and fun!

This is a well made puzzle. The pieces are sturdy and fit together nicely, without any backing being pulled off when one needs to take pieces apart. The colors are great and the picture has a lot of fun elements to discover. I highly recommend this puzzle.

This is a wonderful, colorful puzzle with great detail. The puzzles are of a high quality and the shading is distinct enough to make the process fun, while still a challenge. I have enjoyed all of the Colin Thompson puzzles- always a little surprise in the detail. Makes you smile while relaxing with these pieces.

What a fun puzzle! Very cute picture with all the animals. From the UK so takes a while to clear customs and arrive, but not unduly long. Well worth the wait!

Excellent construction - pieces strongly made and fit perfectly. Loved the design - very different, intriguing and so interesting.

A superb jigsaw which looks amazing when finished. Colin Thompson's art work is quite superb and very detailed. However this jigsaw has subtle colour changes which make it great fun to work on (bad news if you are colour blind) and it is therefore very doable. A delight and top quality.

Macht sich wunderbar im Glasrahmen. Freunde staunen auch über das originelle Motiv. Lieferung schnell, Verpackung gut und preislich angemessen

Lo he comprado para regalárselo a mi chico (le encantan los puzzles). Tanto el diseño, como el color y la textura nos ha gustado mucho. Es un puzzle con un acabado bien hecho. Lo recomiendo 100% por todo eso pero también porque es ideal para iniciarse en los puzzles (aunque sea de 1000 piezas), además queda muy chulo para decorar :)

Veramente un bellissimo disegno. A mio figlio è piaciuto tantissimo e mi ha già chiesto un altro come questo.Ogni animale è in una posa difesa e con un espressione diversa.La consegna puntuale come al solito.
