This doesn’t seem to be an OEM product, but it looks like the OEM version and functions well. It didn’t come with instructions, but you can find them online at places that sell Baby Lock sergers. I watched tutorials on two things first: 1) How to set up my serger for cover stitching, then 2) How to set up the foot. Once I understood those procedures, it only took a couple trial runs to get everything working well. The instructions tell you to cut the fabric into 7/8” strips, but I found 1” to work better. It helps to cut the leading edge of the strip into a point—much easier to get the fabric started through the binder. I cut the fabric strips with a rotary cutter—easier than trying to do it with a scissors. I made enough ties for several masks in an easy afternoon, and they look high quality and professional. The Baby Lock instructions say to use bias cuts, but I found straight grain cuts to work nicely for ties.

A little Gem for coverstitch machine works well for brother I have got an additional mounting plate on my machine to accommodate different attachments bought from the same company.Price is a little steep but this is where we get caught out,being the explorative and creative angles on the planet.I think 25 pounds would have been a fair price as there are no other belt loop size options on the UK amazon web site but for convenience and speed this item has won a place in my in my sewing room easy to use straight out the packet every thing is adjustableHappy crafting people.
